ugly parking lot with homeless asking for change. a couple shopping carts in front of the shop with a tent and parasol type encampment. don't sit outside here it smells like urine. this is an ugly location. good to just pull in an get something. but the patio outdoor area is very dirty an smells repugnant. quite a few homeless seated at their outdoor tables too. I guess this is a depressed neighborhood...
One of the best coffee joints in West LA. Good environment, great people. Nice storefront.
Good coffee and pastries at fair prices. Friendly staff
Needs badly remodeling. Have been going there since it opened sometimes around 2003, about 4 or 5 times a week. Use to have the best bagels anywhere in LA, for the past 18 months or so, their bagels is an insult. Complained, called at no avail. This place is going down the drain. If it wasn't for some of Servers, so friendly.... I would have stopped coming, period.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Permanently Closed) had me at hello with its inviting aroma. The caramel latte was a sweet revelation, and the welcoming barista shared some coffee secrets. A must-visit for coffee enthusiasts.
