went for a movie last night and everything was beautiful and luxurious as expected from this place, however the manager was so awful that i felt compelled to write a review solely based on my experience(s) with him. as unprofessional as they come, unable to take his face away from his cell phone while we waited at an empty counter to buy movie tickets. no one came until we asked some very confused (and seemingly terrified) employees at the popcorn counter. then, while purchasing popcorn, he spoke so degradingly to the employees serving us that I felt extremely uncomfortable. it was clear with the small encounters we had with him that he is not fit for management nor does he deserve to be in charge of young innocent employees who don't know any better. Shame on you the LOT for employing someone so awful to guide and instruct your team.

I️ literally BOILED in theater 4. Just because it’s November doesn’t mean crack the heat to 85. Drinks are super over priced. Too bad couldn’t even get a buzz because all the alcohol I consumed sweat out of me. Will NOT go back. Not worth it.

And sorry but the new THOR sucked. Fell asleep......but that could’ve been the heat too.

This place has really gone down since it's opening. What use to distinguish it was the food. After just eating there tonight my wife and I decided to go elsewhere as the service was horrific. In addition the food was cold and our order was messed up twice which is an annoyance while trying to watch a movie.

First time here and I love it. Outstanding luxurious movie theatre experience worth every penny I paid. Friendly and well trained staff. I can't give my experience a justice by writing here. Go for it and enjoy. Oh yeah, try their caramel popcorn. Enjoy!

Beautiful theater and great gourmet food/drink selection. Just went for the first time, and it was a little awkward. No server came up to where I was seated to take my order, but took everyone else's around me. Had to walk out front and find someone, I was told I had to turn a light on at my seat to get service? And my order could not be taken at the front concession stand (weird). For someone who is visiting for their first time, I had no idea. I thought it was very odd that somehow I was suppose to figure this out without any help or notification (maybe add that on the ticket or something?). I missed the first few minutes of the movie doing all this, so was a little annoyed. But eventually got service, when I pressed their light button. My recommendation to the theater is to better advertise this ordering system.

I would give this theater 4.5 stars if I could. The process of ordering my ticket was pretty frustrating, otherwise, the experience at the theater was awesome! Although, a definite, once in awhile treat because of how pricey it is; it was definitely worth it. Everyone should experience excellent customer service and watching a movie in a comfy recliner and ordering what you want to eat from your seat. The popcorn was pretty special too.

I love the Lot for it's comfy and spacious seats, but it is way too pricey! My husband and I shared a bottle of wine and the cheapest one they offered was $45 which you can get at the store for less than $15. I also think $22 for a movie is absurd. The food was decent, our brussel sprouts were charred and our waitress never came back to check in with us. Also there was no toilet paper in the restroom stall I was in and it looked as though it had not been tended to in awhile. As much as I love the comfy chairs, I will wait and watch a movie in my comfy bed for a lot less.

I had a wonderful time with my husband we went to the movies at 10:30 in the morning and we ate brunch right at our movie seats the seats are reclining and very very comfortable my husband had a $25 cheeseburger, that he said was "WELL WORTH IT" it came with Sweet potato crosscut fries. I had Baked macaroni and cheese for brunch and 2 Bloody Marys! all in all I had a great time with my big bucket of caramel popcorn!
I can't wait to go back! the day cost us about $110 but it was well worth it, i had a nice afternoon with my husband which has been a long time coming!

The LOT is another new establishment at Liberty Station. This movie theater/restaurant & bar is reminiscent of Cineopolis in del mar. The theater has large comfortable seats that recline and you can order food and drinks delivered right to your seat. The theaters themselves are smaller and to accommodate the food service. Great full bar outside the theater as well to wait before your movie starts. I would go back again.

Great service in all facets!!!! Rewarding experience. The service alone, both by the waiter and management was excellent. I bring up management because we had technical problems with our seats. The seats themselves were fabulous, but our first pair had come unbolted to the ground. Our second seats waiter call button was broken so we brought it up to management. They handled it in a professional manner and rewarded themselves with repeat customers! All in all a great experience.

Incredible seats, good projection quality, and a full menu to order from. You can even reserve your seat. I'll be coming here again. A friend tells me the popcorn isn't great though.

La jolla location is amazing. Pt Loma had nice seats, but that's where the similarities ended. Held outside while they were cleaning the theatre, allowed entrance as movie started. 3 of us immediately pushed the call buttons, no one ever showed up. Tried to flag down a server and we were ignored. Had to go in the lobby to order. The movie ended and we never received our paid order. The manager gave us a refund as the couple behind us was explaining the exact same situation. Disappointed that I gave tickets to friends and family as Christmas presents.
