Didn't come for the tea, just for dinner and it was great. The borscht was really good. Great service too.

They used to have wifi, but not anymore. I enjoy having their Tranquil Tea Trio where you can order soup or salad, half a sandwich, and your choice of tea for $11. Depending on which tea you order you’ll be charged extra, but it’s still worth it.

One of a few great tea places in all of SoCal in my opinion. You won't find many places that has the feel and choices that this place has. It's a mixture of a quaint tea spot and a cafe. They have great food choices to go with your teas. I'll stop in just to grab an iced tea and they give you a hefty amount. Ask them about tea because they know what's good. I'd probably avoid the desserts just because there's better options in the area. But overall it's one of those places worth stopping by on a warm day and you're looking to catch up on a good book.

I have now gone to tranquil tea lounge two times
both times it has been wonderful service

i recommend getting a flight of tea
then you get three different kinds
and the scones are delicious

i highly recommend checking this place out

Took Mom for a ladies lunch. We ordered a three-pot tea sampler: 3 hot teas of your choice. We asked for a cocoanut, a berry blend, and an English breakfast tea. Tip: Let them steep for a minute or two to get the full flavor.

The place is small and attracts local hipsters and college people. It's not exactly "tranquil" since you hear kitchen clanking, reggae music, and several simultaneous conversations. But there is tea, tea, and more tea. The staff knows their product, and can suggest items to try.

But the food! We ordered soup and 1/2 sandwiches. The soup was homemade and had fresh vegetables and fresh noodles! They try to give the sandwiches a little culinary twist, unexpected and yummy!

Next time, maybe dessert!

If you like tea, you will love Tranquil! The staff is friendly and helpful and the tea and food are great. I have been going to Tranquil for years and always enjoy it.

every time i go i enjoy myself, the variety of teas is very good. The service is always good....the atmosphere is great. I liked it so much i bought the place out for my wifes 30th bday party. The prices are actually very good. for doing that.

I love this place. Been coming here since it opened and even got engaged here. Service, food, and tea is perfect. It is a must visit.

Spring rolls were overflowing with vermicelli, hummus was gummy. I got a Dragon well Green Tea and it was just okay. Interior was alright, nothing too special. The staff were really friendly, pretty much the only good thing I can say about this place.
