I was excited to try Trouble Coffee, but it was a letdown. The coffee was bland, and the pastries were stale. I hope they improve their offerings.

If you're ever in 1545 Willow Street, Oakland, CA 94607, make sure to hit up Trouble Coffee. Their cappuccino was a frothy dream with just the right espresso kick. The café had a vintage, 1950s diner vibe with red leather booths and rock 'n' roll playing in the background. It's a coffee time machine.
