Atmosphere was super cute especially with the outdoor patio. I ordered a yogurt parfait which was pretty good but nothing that blew my mind. I do love the healthy options here though
Always enjoy Urth at this location. Nice to sit outside, good vibe, good food and drinks. Not for everyone, but if there is a hint of granola in you, you would enjoy...
Urth cafe is a perfect casual brunch place. There is a good selection of food and pastries. The good isn't mind blowing but it is an everyday kinda tasty food. After you're nice and full, you can take a stroll down to the Santa Monica beach. This place is packed during the weekends so if you're planning on a sit down dining, you may end up sitting by the walkway/ sidewalk.
If you're looking for something that won't disappoint, then here's the place. You don't come here to enjoy mind blowing food, but food that delivers consistently each time. It's your normal American fare- soups, salads, sandwiches. What they do really well is their green tea beverages. The green tea latte and green tea milk tea with bubbles are the best! Their latte art is also on point! Expect a wait for seating on weekends!
Great coffees, teas, bakery items. Excellent food quality and service consistently! Food menu is eclectic and delicious.
Serving a variety of different dishes with vegetarian and vegan options available most of the food is set up with a healthy mindset but if you're Trying to avoid anything specific like certain ingredients sugars are carbs things of this nature you wanna make sure you check it out before you eat it. Deserts are available with a variety of different temptations also. Lots of unique flavors with the teas They have which you can also purchase and take with you if you like it after trying it in the store. Outside seating is available if you prefer it. Just be advised you're gonna come out of pocket for this one $$$$
Urth Caffé on Main Street is the perfect place to have a delicious sit-down or takeaway breakfast. You can't go wrong with anything in their pastry cabinet, but I love the petite blueberry pie.
It's a nice place to catch-up with a friend or bring a visitor from out of town, because it's relatively quiet and the customer service is awesome.
A big plus? Their latte mugs are gigantic and perfectly fit between your hands.
Had their signature Blended Green Tea with Boba and the New Yorker Sandwich. So freaking good. For desert we had the Pecan Pie which was even better the next day and a VEGAN Chocolate Cake! VEGAN? It sure tasted like a very good traditional c.cake. Excited to see Urth Cafe in Hawthorne, but until then SM is my go to spot. Large seating area compared to the other UC's.
Yummy! Great food and treats and drinks. I have liked everything I have ordered from here. From scones to omletts to pizza. Drawback is that it is deli style where you stand in a long line to order and then try and find your seat, that does not work so well. They have tried to rectify the situation with a host that seats guests but many people are just taking the seats without waiting... Not sure how to fix that but regardless, food is great and taking to go is a quicker option.
This is an excellent spot for some really good brunch and to take a walk afterwards. You order yourself and then grab a table. Usually there's a long line especially on the weekends. They are quick though with getting the food out. The place also has a lot of seating in the back and in front of the restaurant. It's a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Their dishes are mostly great and well prepared. Coffee is tasty as well though their roast is on the lighter side. Really like this place.
I'm not usually hung up on the service of a place so much that it causes me to dock them a star for it, but this place really rubbed me the wrong way when I took my out-of-town guests here for some late-afternoon lunch. If you're coming for the first time, and will need more than a few rushed minutes to peruse their rather large menu, be sure to grab a menu and step to the side and not get swept up in that line; otherwise, you'll be forced to rush your order and feel like your inconveniencing the staff, who really don't seem to care.
Poor service aside, this place has pretty delicious- and pricey- healthy food. You have a menu brimming with all sorts of delicious pizzas, sandwiches, soups, salads, and an enormous drinks menu that really doesn't skimp on the teas.
My personal favorite- and I think we all agree is the best coffee in this place- is the Spanish Latte paired with one of their delectable cake slices or pastries. However, if real food is what you're craving, you can't go wrong with their Wild Mushroom Pizza; it is small enough that you can eat it alone if you're a voracious eater like some of us out there, but big enough that it can be shared and still satiate everyone, at the same time. The sandwiches are okay, but not great. And if you're craving something sweet with some chew to it, get one of their yummy bobas for the road.
Yes, parking really sucks this part of town, but if you come during the early hours of the afternoon, it's pretty doable. It's also walking distance from Venice Beach Boardwalk, so if you park there, you have the perfect excuse to walk off the calories on the way back to your car.
This place focuses on creating healthy and intriguing dishes that invite your taste buds to explore new worlds with the comfort of old ones.
The staff is extremely friendly and will work hard to maintain and inviting and warm environment, however they can be a bit slow with their service no matter what the time of day is.
And their desserts are freaking delicious plus absolutely-to-die-for so be careful...or AT LEAST make sure you make funeral plans before you select your tasty pastry LOL
Cute cafe and restaurant. Food is decent but has never blown me away for the price. It gets a bit crowded, especially on the weekends, but I love coming here at night to sit and have tea. There are heat lamps outside and a cute, relatively spacious patio. Nice alternative to a bar, if you're looking for a place to take a date.
