Vic is a fabulous guy. I have eaten in the deli itself, but usually get delivery. He has a huge selection and has breakfast until 11 AM. He opens at 7 AM. For breakfast I like the Vic's Special - 2 eggs, American cheese, choice of bacon or ham, and Tabasco sauce unless you tell him otherwise all on an onion bagel. I also like the cream cheese on an everything bagel or Onion or Parmesan and spinach. For lunch I go for the garden delight, tuna salad, tuna melt, turkey and artichoke panini, Reuben, turkey and pepper jack panini sandwiches. I really like the stuffed avocado salad. I always get it with the tuna salad stuffing.

The coffee at Vic'S Deli & Cafe left much to be desired. It lacked flavor, and the service was slow. I won't be returning.

I had a terrible experience at Vic'S Deli & Cafe. The coffee at 7777 Alvarado Rd #400, La Mesa, CA 91942, USA was burnt, and the staff was rude. My visit to Vic'S Deli & Cafe was a major letdown. The coffee tasted like it had been left on the burner for far too long, resulting in a bitter and unpleasant brew. To make matters worse, the staff's dismissive attitude left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

I had mixed feelings about Vic'S Deli & Cafe. While the coffee at 7777 Alvarado Rd #400, La Mesa, CA 91942, USA was decent, it didn't quite live up to the hype I'd heard. The service was efficient but lacked the warmth and friendliness I typically appreciate in a coffee shop. Perhaps I'll give it another shot someday.
