Vic is a fabulous guy. I have eaten in the deli itself, but usually get delivery. He has a huge selection and has breakfast until 11 AM. He opens at 7 AM. For breakfast I like the Vic's Special - 2 eggs, American cheese, choice of bacon or ham, and Tabasco sauce unless you tell him otherwise all on an onion bagel. I also like the cream cheese on an everything bagel or Onion or Parmesan and spinach. For lunch I go for the garden delight, tuna salad, tuna melt, turkey and artichoke panini, Reuben, turkey and pepper jack panini sandwiches. I really like the stuffed avocado salad. I always get it with the tuna salad stuffing.

My recent visit to Vic'S Deli & Cafe was a rollercoaster ride. The coffee was great, but the service was slow. It's worth a visit if you have the time to spare.

I visited Vic'S Deli & Cafe with high expectations, but the coffee at 7777 Alvarado Rd #400, La Mesa, CA 91942, USA left much to be desired. It was weak and lacked flavor. I had heard great things about this place, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. It lacked the boldness and complexity I look for in a good cup of coffee.
