Fair prices and great people here. Greens, fairways and tee boxes are above average.

Very nice place to golf and nice tennis courts and basketball courts something for the whole family.

Website Is plastered with banners saying the range is now open until 8pm. This is a lie, I've gone twice after work around 715pm and everything is locked. The guy in the club house has been on his cell both times, and pointed to the closed sign when I knocked.

I don't plan on going back, Van Buren doesn't have a grass range, but at least they're professional about their hours.

Good course for the price point.

Biggest negative....there are geese EVERYWHERE! 2 times they got in the way of my ball on the fairway.

Besides that, fairways are rough but definitely playable.
Greens are in good shape. (They pull the back 9 flags around 5:00-5:30....a bit early and not fun for someone who has never played the course.)
Customer service was great (except for the employee smoking pot in the parking lot).
Driving range is cheap but they do not have mats, so bring a lot of tees if you're going to be slamming balls.

Greens were in great shape. $22 for 18 during Twilight hours including cart. Was great value. Long par 3's. Wide open and flat. Fairways are in rough shape, but playable. Good people, clean amenities.

I went there today in the morning (Monday, July 21, 2016) about 9 am with my son(6). We tried play 9 holes. But we can't, because the cashier (man) gave the price $58 for me and six year old son. I knew the price of other golf course for Junior ride cart with adult, Mountain meadow charged me $5 and paradise knoll charged me $10 for six old boy to be with me. Therefore, I explained that other golf course charged us cheaper price and asked the cashier to give me favor. Then he told me without hesitating any moment that go other course. I saw his sneering face. I felt very embarrassing from his response. I went to whispering lake golf course several times to play in within two month because it is close to my home and the quality of course is good. But How could I come back and play whispering lake again. I was so disappointment with the customer service and I could not forget cashier's face and his words.

Great course, moderately difficult for a beginner like me. Good deal on golfnow, only 34 bucks with a cart.

Low cost public course. Good value. Can usually get a on without a tee time.

Relaxed local golf course. Nothing special. Cheap - good place to visit at the price point.
