Maybe I visited on a bad day, but the drip coffee was watery and bland. I asked the barista to recommend a dark roast coffee to take home, he recommended the "El Mundo" blend. This is medium roast at best and lacks depth of flavor. A very plain roast in my opinion.

Great place for coffee and croissants. Some of the best coffee beans available here, it's also next door to a bike shop and makes for a good biking destination.

Ok can this place get any better?! So many cafes to pick from around this area but this is one of my top favorite in my neighborhood now.

Great great coffee and atmosphere, but not ideal laptop work place because of limited seating. Enjoyed the music (early 2000s).

Dedicated to coffee. For the aficionados. Small place, each cup hand done. Not the place for sugary syrupy water that's sold as coffee. I never miss an opportunity to visit.

Been going here for five years. Literally the BEST latte in San Diego. It is almost a caramel flavor and the coffee isn't overpowered by the milk. I dare you to find a better latte in San Diego. Please message me if you do. The only downside is that they're not open on Sundays. Staff are super great. ALMOND CROISSANT IS BOMB.

Zumbar Coffee, they know how to roast! Better yet, they know how to froth their almond milk! Super rich tight foam aerated to perfection. They expedite the line well to move you through, which I appreciated in the morning. They are located in a strip mall, so the ambience is not the greatest. Outdoor seating consists of a few tables, but it is loud due to the freeway proximity. When I'm in town I frequent the establishment because their coffee is intense, smooth with just a hint of bright notes. They do have pastries, but nothing really for specialty diets.

Best Cappuccino and Flat Whites I've ever had. Add a VG's old fashioned donut and you've got heaven.

Meh. Over-roasted, and no single-origin. Origins not even listed. Go to Birdrock Coffee Roasters instead. At least they always have fresh coffee brewed

Great place to grab a nice latte early n the morning on the way to work nearby.Service is always quick and friendly......coffee is always great!

Best coffee I've ever had. We buy their beans too. Bonus are the Opera pastries. Croissant and cappuccino make a great breakfast.
