Great food and service. A great experience all the way around. If your used to shoddy NY service this place will remind you of what good service is. Plus the food is incredible. If you appreciate good food you will love this place. What's good? Everything. Baked goods, pastry, artisinal bread, esspreso, french fries with truffle oil and sea salt, macaroons, sandwiches, soup, salad. Arrive early in the day cause menu items run out as the day goes on.
Professional staff and helpful staff. Great bakery options but did wish there were more sandwich options.
Delicious baked goods, yum yum, long line but efficient operation.
First time coming here I have to say it was good. The pastry/dessert is amazing... Hubby and I split the Bourbon Bundt cake....so good couldn't even get a pic of it .It wasn't overly sweet and had this cream cheese frosting dollop...so good. My husband had a reuben which was good, nothing extraordinary, we had truffle fries which were awesome, had the right pinch of salt, but I ordered a crab cake which I was very disappointed. It was one cake which was big by itself, it was so bready and hard on the outside it was just odd.... I thought for this to be a culinary place it would be more Maryland crab cake like, but it was not. If your really into crab cakes I would defintely skip it. I am not sure if it was just off since we got them right before closing. The Mac and cheese was something we tried also , it's not a southern mac and cheese but it's a very nice combination of cheeses that are used, it's a gourmet mac and cheese, only suggestion is that it could be more seasoned. If in the area I would come back, or if you pass through it's cute experience and spot to come too. Focus more so on bakery items. The staff was super nice.
This is the best ever! Expert service no wait, like $3 for muffins, scones, cookies. My dad had the crab cake which was the best ever, fresh crab flavor, huge portion for $10.50. My Mac and Cheese with aged Gruyere was intense and has a crunchy topping to contrast the creamy cheese and pasta. Great value. Great experience.
The food was delicious (with exception to the chestnut donut, the icing was hard and thr butternut cream filling was soupy and not at all sweet) and service was to notch.
The vanilla lemonade was amazing and the truffle fries are one of my favorite things there. It would be nice if the staff would back off a bit on asking if the food was okay. In the 40 mins we were there we were asked about 5 times if everything was good.
The coffee at Apple Pie Bakery Café left much to be desired. It lacked flavor, and the service was slow. I won't be returning.
I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Apple Pie Bakery Café during a recent visit to 1946 Campus Dr, Hyde Park, NY 12538, USA, and it turned out to be a coffee revelation. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the inviting ambiance, a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern aesthetics. I decided to try their cold brew, which had been recommended by a fellow coffee enthusiast. It did not disappoint. The cold brew was impeccably smooth, with a rich, bold flavor that awakened my taste buds. It was the kind of coffee that you savor slowly, enjoying every nuanced sip. One thing that truly sets Apple Pie Bakery Café apart is their commitment to sustainability. They proudly source their beans from ethically responsible growers, and they use eco-friendly packaging. It's heartening to know that my coffee was not only delicious but also environmentally conscious. The staff at Apple Pie Bakery Café were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their passion for coffee. They took the time to explain the origin of the beans and the meticulous brewing process, which added depth to the overall experience. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just someone looking for a cozy coffee spot, Apple Pie Bakery Café is a must-visit. It's a coffee experience that goes beyond the ordinary, and it's a place where the love for coffee shines through in every cup. It's become one of my favorite coffee haunts, and I can't recommend it enough.
I was underwhelmed by Apple Pie Bakery Café. The latte was lackluster, and the pastries were dry. The overall experience left much to be desired.
Apple Pie Bakery Café at 1946 Campus Dr, Hyde Park, NY 12538, USA is my coffee sanctuary. The ambiance is inviting, the flat white is perfection, and the staff goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. It's a place I can't recommend enough.
