Great, authentic Italian food. Cool deli setting
The best smoked mozzarella in the world!
The flavor permeates the entire item. Nice smokey skin and flavorful and creamy on the inside. I never had a smoked mozzarella like this anywhere else; ever!
Nice options for Italian classics served up in a small space. Sample the goods at Mike's, have a local beer at Bronx Beer Hall, and try some garlic knots all under one roof. Great Arthur Ave stop!
The market is honestly a memorable experience! There's a flower shop when you walk in and you can see the guys hand making cigars, which is so cool. Then they have a spot to purchase fresh produce and another stand that is dedicated to selling meats of various kinds. Ooouu, how could I forget about all the tasty types of cheeses available as well and there is a stand to purchase treats and gelato as well. Lastly, slap dab in the middle is Bronx Beer Hall, which I heard many good reviews about. This place is worth checking out!
Been there many time in the past, they seem to be getting away from what is important,THE CUSTOMER! I just went there Wednesday, not very busy it seemed as if I was bothering the staff by buying cheese, sausage, olives, etc. This is what should be important to them. Don't get me wrong I know this is" Da Bronx " and I get the attitude but the products themselves just weren't up to their usual standards.
This is the original and historic Little Italy in the Bronx. This place is very italian abitat
Fun place to easy with lots of authentic Italian food.
Throw your party at the Bronx beer hall, have Mikes deli cater.
Mikes been there ever since I can remember 50 yrs. I grew up in this little Italian neighborhood, there is a lot of history here some nice some not so nice. You are guaretted good food at any of our Reastraunts. Mikes in the market is like being in a market in Italy, all imports and domestic too. If your on Arthur ave and u Dont stop in your missing out. .
I love Arthur Avenue. I love the Italian markets, the breads, pastries, cheeses, meats. The restaurants. It is better than Little Italy in Manhattan and the parking is easier. There are several lots to park in, as well as on the street parking. Prices are inexpensive.
