If you're ever in Lawrence, New York, United States, you've got to check out Bagel Island. Their cortado was a tiny cup of espresso perfection. The café had a cozy, European café vibe with sidewalk tables and acoustic guitar tunes. A romantic spot for coffee and conversation.

I'm sorry to say that Bagel Island left much to be desired. The latte was lukewarm, and the prices seemed a bit steep for what was offered. The overall experience was forgettable, and I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.
