Baxter St Cafe is a hub for community-based care and asset building. It is a public space where our Chinatown neighborhood can organize change and growth. The cafe is focused on addressing sustainability practices, urban agriculture, and food redistribution in our lower Manhattan neighborhood. This is a public and modern evolution of Baxter Street Camera Club's Project Space - where lens-based artists shared innovative ideas and work that influenced the development of contemporary lens-based arts.
