Went to boulder coffee for an open mic last night and the place is just so great. The atmosphere is super cozy, people are just supportive of each other and the bar is just really nicely set up. You re just willing to be there, relax with a good drink and hear good music. Will come back at a next occasion �

This place is so awesome ! Absolutely love the food and best coffee anywhere. I adore their salads. I am so appreciative that they hosted the Comedy Open Mic on Sunday for ten years ! I've preformed there many times and never failed to have a great time. Hope they bring it back again sometime.

The atmosphere was super relaxed and everyone was really nice. The coffee was excellent. I had a regular dark roast with a shot of lavender and I couldn't have had anything tastier!

My first time here -- came for a Rochester Woman Online event -- Boulder is now my new fav place! Thanks for having the space to host events like Diva's night. Coffee or tea and yummy treats ... networking ... learning -- hey, that's an awesome combo!

I've been coming to Boulder almost every Sunday for 2 years now. I've always appreciated the kindness and conversational prowess of the staff and I have participated in the open mic each time I've gone. While I miss the younger, more attractive hosts, I think that all of them have behaved in a professional manner

I love all the baristas that have ever helped me, most of them have never forgotten what I always go there for, even if I'm gone for months like in the winter due to using a wheelchair. just to not be forgotten like that is amazing and just shows they value their customers. coffee quality is always great. i give this place an A++

Great coffee--even the decaf, and that's hard to do!--and a warm, welcoming place to hang. It's under new ownership, and they're doing their best to retain the charm of the original place, but to interweave their own vision into it. They have great sandwiches, and the baristas are all charming and capable. One of my favorite spots!

Great atmosphere and artists. Music, comedy, and great coffee. A dude named Trey working there this evening was awesome!! I locked my keys in my car and he helped me get them out. Coulda just said sorry but instead came out and helped me. Thanks Trey! ���

Glad to see new owners have made some nice changes. First and for most the two Wednesday night music open mic baristas are always friendly and just as much knowledge based with the service they provide.



Many a times I have picked their brain in regards to cold brews! It’s great to see people who are passionate about their product and gracious with their info.



I need to go to other events they host as I am a creature of habit with the music open mic which always draws a regular built in crowd! It’s reallg cool to see new owners not resting on laurels of the past but also realizing what works. I look forward to see what the evolution of this south wedge mainstay will bring!

Excellent staff and customer service. The Sunday night comedy open mics are my absolute favorite nights to go, and I always have a great time there. I highly recommend Boulder.

Cozy loungables, great coffee, alcoholic beverages, friendly staff, and most nights have some form of free entertainment. Open mic comedy on sunday nights can get a little packed. One of my favourite places in Rochester.

Checked this place out when visiting Rochester, and now I wish we lived closer to it! Hands down, the best atmosphere I've ever felt in a coffee shop! Killer coffee, rad decor, and a plenty of varied seating that caters to both introverts and extroverts. I'll stop here every time I'm in town!

Boulder Cafe offers a relaxed eclectic atmosphere with wonderful hot and cold drinks. They also offer a food menu that is tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the venue offers multiple entertainment events including Open Mic nights and local artist singing doing comedy and much more. The support to the local Arts is shown through the 1 month rotation of displaying a local artist featuring an art opening at the beginning of each show. The Works are always for sale and it provides a great atmosphere to enjoy as well. A definitely must go place.

Atmosphere that encourages conversation and creativity. Top quality coffee and espresso drinks. When you order tea, they create the teabag from jars of loose leaf tea.

This afternoon I went to Boulder Coffee Co. on South Clinton Ave. They have an industrial feel and serve coffee, and tea, as well as sandwiches, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. They have a stage for live music and open mic nights, and awesome artwork on the walls. No matcha here so I had a frozen vanilla chai, and a sandwich featuring ham, portabello, Swiss, and onion, with honey mustard on cibatta. The sandwich was delicious. I didn't notice any music on buy the atmosphere was very chill. The had oil wick candles on the tables for I assume night time which I can only imagine would be great. The baristas​ were chill but not really social. I didn't see any plugs for laptops. Overall I like this place and would return!

I have a group that meets at Boulder on Alexander every Friday. The coffee is very good and the service is excellent. Very eclectic atmosphere as well. Worth the trip if you are nearby.
