One of my favorite restaurants. Good food and good beer. Great ambience. The staff is always so friendly!

Authentic Austrian food, with a cozy rustic decor in Manhattan Lower East Side. I had the Schnitzel and the Pickled Herring was amazing. All portions were generous and the price was fair. Our waitress was extremely helpful in explaining the menu. The restaurant has both a bar and table service.

I stopped by Cafe Katja last week, hoping for a memorable coffee experience. While the coffee was decent, I couldn't help but notice the slow service.
