Authentic Austrian food, with a cozy rustic decor in Manhattan Lower East Side. I had the Schnitzel and the Pickled Herring was amazing. All portions were generous and the price was fair. Our waitress was extremely helpful in explaining the menu. The restaurant has both a bar and table service.

I had a less-than-stellar experience at Cafe Katja. The coffee was cold, and the staff at the 79 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002, USA location seemed disinterested. I won't be giving it another chance.
