I had high hopes for Carlow East, nestled in the heart of 1254 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10028, but left feeling underwhelmed. The ambiance was promising, with local art on the walls and a live band setting up. However, the coffee, which should be the star of the show, was mediocre.
