I expected more from Carmel Coffee House & Roasting Co. The coffee at 246 The Crossroads, Carmel, California 93923 was mediocre, and the pastries were uninspiring. Given the hype surrounding Carmel Coffee House & Roasting Co, I was let down by the coffee's lack of depth and the unremarkable pastries.

Carmel Coffee House & Roasting Co is the embodiment of coffee perfection. The nitro cold brew I had was an experience in itself, and the barista's knowledge made it even better. This is my coffee sanctuary.

My visit to Carmel Coffee House & Roasting Co was a major letdown. The coffee tasted like it had been left on the burner for far too long, resulting in a bitter and unpleasant brew.
