I heard that Dunkin' Donuts has moved down the street on Union Street from the old one. The new Dunkin' Donuts is located where the old Trustco Bank used to be, right next to Pizza Hut on the corner of Union and Dean Streets. From the outside, the building itself resembles a typical house with three large picture windows in the front, with two in the front with a front door in between them (Union Street side), and one on the side of the building toward the front (Livingston Avenue side, which has turned into a drive-thru window), and three small windows on the other side (Dean Street side) with two dormers on the roof with windows. It opened on December 16, 2016. Since I work at Pizza Hut, which is on Union Street, and if I want to go to this new Dunkin' Donuts to get a breakfast sandwich, hash browns, and coffee (mostly in the morning), I don't have to walk too far, like with the old one, which was on the corner of Union Street and Keyes Avenue, right next to Hot Harry's Burritos, and Jimmy John's, which is a sandwich shop (about 1/2 mile away). From that old Dunkin' Donuts (on Union Street and Keyes Avenue) to Pizza Hut down the street on Union Street (where I work at), took me about 5 minutes. Now since it is right next to Pizza Hut, (where I work at), it will take me about a minute to get there. It will be much more convenient for me. This new Dunkin' Donuts now includes a drive-thru window (the old Dunkin' Donuts up the street didn't have one). Pizza Hut on Union Street where I work at, is now sandwiched between two places where breakfast Sandwiches are sold, Bruegger's Bagels, on the right side of it, and Dunkin' Donuts, on the left side of it. On Thursday, Dec. 22, I went there before work. It is bigger then the old one up the street (about three times the size as the old one). It is nice in there. They have booths there. People who work there are nice and friendly. They have a collage about Union College hanging on the wall.
This Dunkin Donuts is good in the same way that other Dunkin Donuts are good, so I won't be belabor the point too much. They have good drinks at a slightly lesser price than Starbucks, and the sizes on the drinks are much larger for an equal payment. There's a huge variety of donuts that rotates constantly, and the staff here are quick with making drinks, and they actually make them as you order them. What a novel concept! Though this Dunkin Donuts location lacks many of the things that make a fast food restaurant fast: good parking (sometimes you might have to go around the block a couple times to find some), and a drive-thru, it's still one of my favorites. The store isn't quite as crowded, and the donuts aren't picked over early in the morning because it takes a little effort to get inside the store, and most people rushing to work don't want to jump out of their cars to get their morning coffee. They're building a new location for this store with a drive-thru and bigger parking lot, right down the street.
Friendly staff, the food and coffee is always delicious only down side is its small compared to the amount of clientele but they're moving it half a block up soon to a bigger building.
Staff are super friendly, honest - will recommend things and steer you away from the not so good options. Got a cool new drink from a cool employee - mix 3 coolata flavors and it's heaven. Go here. Good.

So, I swung by Dunkin' Donuts (Permanently Closed) at 1621 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12309, USA, and I've got to say, their cappuccino is next level. The foam was so frothy, it felt like I was sipping on a cloud. The barista was cool, too—friendly and not stuck-up like some other coffee places. I'll definitely be making this my go-to spot for my caffeine fix.
I stumbled upon Dunkin' Donuts (Permanently Closed) while wandering around 1621 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12309, USA, and what a delightful discovery! The rustic charm of the interior paired with the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee beans was an instant mood lifter. The barista recommended their house blend, and it was a smooth, flavorful journey in a cup. The only downside was the slightly cramped seating, but with coffee this good, I'm willing to overlook it.,Dunkin' Donuts (Permanently Closed),1621 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12309, USA
If you're a coffee freak like me, you'll dig Dunkin' Donuts (Permanently Closed) in 1621 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12309, USA. Their espresso was a straight-up flavor bomb. I couldn't get enough of that intense, roasted goodness. The café had this hipster vibe with bearded baristas and vintage décor. Totally my jam.

My visit to Dunkin' Donuts (Permanently Closed) was a mixed bag. The espresso was fantastic, but the seating was uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. Good coffee, but not an ideal workspace.
