My favorite place in the park varies by the day and the season, but the pollinator garden at dusk is always near the top of the list. All of us who work at the cafe consider ourselves lucky to get to spend time with so many great people in such a special place. Thanks for sharing the Allerton love with us!

We have one of our fan-favorites at the cafe today - Summer Corn Chowder! Cap off your visit with our homemade Rhubarb Custard Bars, which are amazing.

Where are all of the chicken salad fans at? If you haven't tried the Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad at the cafe yet, you need to do that soon! It's a little bit sweet and a little bit savory and totally delish, whether you like it as a wrap, on toasted wheatberry bread, or over salad greens.

We were pleased to work with the Monticello Elementary PTO to love on our teachers a little bit this week. Part of what makes Monticello such a great town is the quality of our schools. Big shout out to all the teachers for how you're helping us raise smart, kind, and well rounded kiddos.

Today I have the pleasure of supporting two things that are important to me: eating delicious tacos AND the Monticello Christian Academy. Stella has attended MCA for pre-school and now after-school care for the past three years and we can't say enough great things about their staff, their curriculum, and the way they love on our kiddo. Please consider stopping by our fundraiser at the Greenhouse Café and helping us support this school that serves a great need in our community.

We are super excited to host a fundraiser in support of Monticello Christian Academy. Join us on Sunday, May 5, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. for a Make-Your-Own Taco Bar, complete with Spanish rice, Mexican sweet corn salad, and churros! $12 for adults, $8 for kids with 20% of all sales going to MCA.
