Tea Tasting is now my preferred way to try teas that I've never sampled. H&S Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, which made my first visit both delightfully informative and a productive shopping experience. Highly recommended!

Just what a tea shop should be. Highly recommend the tea tasting. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Cute gift shop and delightful tea bar for scones or soup with your tea.

Harney is THE place for tea. You can buy it, loose or bagged, sample it, buy teapots and cups or just enjoy a pot in the tea room with or without lunch or a snack. The staff is unfailingly knowledgeable. A wonderful weekend destination!

Went there with my husband, mom, and our two puppies. We sat on the terrace and the waiter brought a bowl of water over for our dogs. (Not allowed inside though).

Food was good, the shop is cool, and the staff is knowledgeable.

Small shop with sophisticated wares and an adjacent tea room that serves a most interesting and delicious menu of teas, pastries, and light fare. A very special treat, modestly priced.

The best tea selection within a hundred miles. Internationally known. Tea samples are always brewing and you can request one. The cafe is not really worth the effort. If you are in Millerton, stop by and get a pound of your favorite tea.

We stopped in for tea and lunch in the tea room.. Food was "ok", nothing special, expensive for what you get. I would next time just order tea with dessert/scones. Take time and enjoy the area where they have the canisters of tea to ell and have bagged up fresh. The tea is of the highest quality (we oder frequently). Prices for tea are the same as on the website.

A great variety of excellent teas may be purchased here. Try Supreme Breakfast, Pueh, Hot Cinnamon, and Mint. Loose tea and tea in bags (sachets) are sold here. There's also a tasting room - try it before you buy it. There are also tea pots for sale and tea accessories - everything tea! The staff is friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. When it comes to tea, Harney & Sons is my go-to place.

Great tour of their headquarters ! Kudos to our guide Kim ! Tasting bar,gift shop and cafe was delightful! Worth the trip !

Awesome tea. We'll run company. Friendly and classy. I recommend the tour if you get the chance. I'm totally a Harney Teavangelist now.

There's a small little Cafe attached to the store. The store is divided into a sample room, where you can ask them to brew up 1 flavor of your choice. Additionally they offer at least something else daily to sample. The other room is the storefront. Please be advised some teas are seasonal and may not be on the floor, sometimes you can ask staff for items not on the floor and get lucky if they have it in the back.

Great place for all the tea connoisseurs and for the ocassional tea drinker. Welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff to help you with your tea selections. There's a very small restaurant in the back that's worth the wait so go for lunch but get there early!
