No Bakery in this location. No joy. Drove 15 min to find this out.
Keuka Artisan Bakery has been closed for over a year. Despite notifying Google many times the name keeps staying the same but the place is run at that location under a different name keuka Baking Company. They are not the same business and they do not have the same bakers. Please correct this asap. A year should be enough time to get it right Google. Sincerely Deb DiBona.
The prices are decent but everytime I go in for baked goods I always come out kinda disappointed because of one missing ingredient or something that pushes their backed goods from OK to AMAZING but they always seem to be OK.
For the first time I tried one of their sandwiches I decided on the chicken salad on whole wheat. Wow talk about great flavor I loved the grapes in the chicken salad it gave it a sweet flavor. I'm not an expert on bread but this was some of the best I ever had on a sandwich. You can tell it was made in house. If you are in the area you have to give this place a try!
The main reason why I give only 3 stars is that I expect from a great bakery, that they sell fresh bread from the moment they open the store... no way I come in at 8 am and they tell me the first fresh bread will be available around 9:30 am 10 ish or even later, but I could buy bread from the day before at a discounted price, REALLY? Sure, that's why I didn't buy one yesterday, but came in again this morning to get a fresh one...
The owners and staff were very friendly, the pastries are decent and the coffee is good.
So if you're around try the waffle with fresh peach sauce...
Ah, the toasted spelt bread framed a delicious veggie sandwich!...While waiting for my order, I was snapping photos of the interesting decor. Unbeknownst to me, I left my 'money bag', on the chair. Later in the day, while still enjoying the gems of Hammondsport, I discovered the absence of my 'bag'. I immediately ran to the bakery. The proprietor, John, greeted me and, after I described the bag, kindly handed it to me. He told me that a customer had realized the bag was something of importance and gave it to John. How's that for integrity! When I asked John if he knew that name of the customer, he did not. The customer was not a regular; he was a vacationer. Thank you, vacationer! Thank you, John! Thank you, Keuka Artisan Bakery and Deli, for being a gem in the Finger Lakes!...Oh, I forgot to tell you....I tried to reach into the bakery display case, to be 'rebuffed' by the glass. Besides the delicious food, and being a place of integrity, Keuka Artisan Bakery and Deli has such a clean glass display case that you do not see it!
Everything is always perfect!
Keuka Artisan Bakery & Deli (Permanently Closed) is where coffee dreams come true! Located at 49 Shethar Street, Hammondsport, NY 14840, USA, it's a coffee lover's paradise. The flat white I ordered was a velvety masterpiece, and I couldn't help but savor every sip. The café's vibe is a delightful blend of vintage and modern, with comfy armchairs and retro décor. Plus, the baristas treated me like an old friend. Don't miss out on this gem!
I stopped by Keuka Artisan Bakery & Deli (Permanently Closed) for a quick caffeine fix, but the line was long, and the service was lacking in efficiency. It's not the place for a hurried coffee stop.
My recent coffee adventure took me to Keuka Artisan Bakery & Deli (Permanently Closed) in 49 Shethar Street, Hammondsport, NY 14840, USA, and it was a journey worth taking. The cortado I ordered was a true work of craftsmanship, with a balanced flavor that impressed me.
