It used to be a somewhat decent Italian styled restaurant. the problem was the owner/chef. He refused to adapt any of his preparations to patrons tastes. He wouldn't even allow you to change the pasta a dish came with.
He changed the entire operation to a sports bar with TVs blasting, poor service and inconsistent food.
Looks like he's trying a face change again ...
He needs to learn that HE is the problem.
The location is great.
Great little place for breakfast. Food is excellent and staff are very friendly. It gets crowded quickly on weekends. I got there right around opening at 800, so no problem getting a seat...but was full by the time i left. Not sure if they take reservations, but would definitely suggest them if they do. Excellent local coffee as well.
Did cooking class with my daughter at Love Lane Kitchen. Made a delicious risotto and had a great time. Such a wonderful place!!
Cute and cozy local place with fresh food and friendly service. The steak sandwich and the pastrami were both great. Garlic fries also. Good value for the food. Open all year round.
This is the cutest restraunt. Breakfast is delicious and service is excellent. Price is very good for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend the breakfast bowl. We will be coming back!
One of the best places to get breakfast on the Island. I love the coffee bar, no waiting on a waitress to being around a pot! The service is always very good.
I drive 45 mins to get to this place (& another 45 back) and it is worth every second.
Excellent lobster roll and fish tacos. We were able to seat quickly at the bar, otherwise the wait Saturday at 2pm was still 45 minutes.
The Pastrami Hash was amazing! Cool little breakfast place with self serve coffee. The atmosphere was pretty nice as well :)
Very fun, lively place. Great service even though busy. Both of us had lobster rolls which were delicious.
LLK is great! The food is tasty, very high quality and very consistent. We've been for brunch, lunch and dinner multiple times and it's always on point. Brunch and lunch cover the basics (eggs, burgers, lobster rolls, etc.), and the dinners are really something special. Unique dishes and great flavors. Service is young and local but totally fine. Highly recommend!
I came with my family. I had the fish tacos which were fresh and tasty; slightly spicy and and good texture. My wife enjoyed the Cobb salad and soon enjoyed the chicken soup. The sweet potato fries were also fresh, crisp and good.
They had one of my favorite sandwiches, soft shell crab, which was excellent. The service was great, however the noise level was high, but tolerable. I would certainly go there again.
The food was excellent. I had the cod over a bed of lentils and rice and it was cooked to perfection. The service was very good. Atmosphere was nice, not quite up to the quality of the food, but fine.
My wife and I love this place, and go whenever we're out in the North Fork. Everything I've ever gotten here has been amazing.
I'm still sitting on the Love Lane Kitchen Patio as I write this waiting for the waitress to come back by the table so we can get our check. The manager stopped by the table next to ours but not ours to check in so I feel comfortable sharing this.
The granola my boyfriend got was soggy and inedible. I got a breakfast sandwich that was bland and I only ate because of how hungry I was.
Service takes FOREVER. This is why the wait was so long.
Our waitress seemed more concerned about giving a dog at another table water than us.
Excellent food. Wonderful staff. Small place but definitely worth the wait. Plus it gives you time to check out the other shops on love lane.
I haven't beem disappointed yet with Love Lane Kitchen. Most recently I had the mussels appetizer and the duck tangine. The duck was not as fatty as I feared it might be. And the sauce and couscous complemented it well. The dish itself is probably best saved for a fall or winter meal. The beer and wine were good, and next time I'll be trying the cocktail menu.
