If you're looking for a brunch spot to discuss business, this is not venue for you. Mamajuana is a lively restaurant cartering Dominican dishes. Their brunch is buffet style with unlimited mimosas, sangeria and Jack Punch for $32 +tax/tip for 1.5hrs (previously 2hrs). During the summer days you can enjoy your meal/drink outside on the Dyckman restaurant strip.

Absolutely recommend this place!! Best Dominican food ever! It's pretty loud in there since they have the bar and loud music so just be aware it might not be best place for intimate conversations since you could barely hear each other. Everyone was extremely attentive during our entire stay there. Fyi bathrooms are gender neutral so don't freak out if you see a male as you exit your stall. There is someone there watching as well as security at the restaurant. Will definitely visit again soon.

Average food on the best of days. Last time I was there- tried the vegetable soup. Have to say it was one of the strangest looking soups I've encountered- basically diced veggies in broth(see pic). Depending on even you go, Hookah vendors can be annoying at times. As a late night party spot , it's decent.

After having dinner and a great time at a restaurant in White plains ( Sofrito). Me and my group decided to go to Mamajuana to keep celebrating the two birthdays. We were sitting on a table smoking hookah and having drinks. Until a waitress-taps me hard on my shoulder and tells my group to get up with the security. I replied not to touch me, she said this table is for bottles only. I explained to the waitress since the moment we sit down we wasted over $500 in drinks between all. She replied, take all the drinks off the table now and the hookah and get up. As she was walking away, she bumps one of the individual from my group (by mistake) I'm hoping. He spills his drink on his clothes and all over the floor. I never got treated so poorly in a restaurant. It was a horrible and super embarrassing experience. Mamajuana worker(s) need a (classier) and better way to communicate with their customers. Without physical contact, and at least giving the customer the option to finish their last drink.

Ambiance is great, food is OK, service is Horrible. The girls just hang out like if they are customers. The bus boys work their butts off and have to go get waitresses for customers that have lost their patience waiting. They really need a manager to delegate. These girls are having too much fun at the expense of the paying customer. They should really try to improve their customer service and attentiveness.

Went on a Friday night. Its was nice, but security kept clearing the walk way which happen to be right next to our table. Shouting to move and flashing his flashlight at everyone near the area. The place was not crowded.

Presentation is nice, mojitos are good, jack punch is good as well. There mamajuana is what it is Strong and authentic great taste. The only reason I give them 3 stars cause the food doesn't taste DELICIOUS, it's good.. that's it good. But it's a nice spot to enjoy your night but the music be too Loud, you have to speak loud to whoever you dining with for them to hear you. There Brunch is Buffet style.

This place has its ups and down it goes through. I remember when it was like every other place the food was on point. There has been time the quality and service drops dramatically. Try the octopus salad it's good. The drinks are decent

This is the place to be if you're looking for some Spanish and hip hop music all in one night, and it just so happens to be one of my favorite places to hang out on a Friday night. The bouncer and I also share the same name which I think is awesome lol. Also, make sure you get your drinks from Yvette at the bar. She'll hook you up!

Went for Sunday brunch buffet with the ladies. Good food but GRADE PENDING. AAAAHHHHH! If i would have seen the sign on the way it, it would have never happened. Won't be back.
