2 stars only because they had great service...food was ehhh..overpriced, felt cramped in a corner, no views, pretty tight space, not much selection for food...won't be going back.
Very nice atmosphere although it does get a bit loud (part acoustics, part table of screeching ladies having too much fun next to me) and a bit pricey (wines $13-$80 a glass) but it IS across from the very festive Rockefeller Center in New York City...and the selection of food and wines makes it worth the splurge. I had the onion soup (which was slightly sweet- not a fan of that) and the baby beet salad. Looked amazing but the dressing was sort of tasteless. I requested a side of dressing to add. For food I give it a 4*, and for wine selection a 5* (but pricing is hefty).
Fantastic place. I loved the service and it was also good vides
Decent food. Great wine selection. A bit pricey but it is right across the street from Rockefeller center. What do you expect?
This is a great place to be. The food is awesome. Of course it is a bit pricy, but what would you expect near Rockefeller Center.
Fantastic place.
We have been here twice this week.
We had to wait a bit for the wine we chose and was treated to a glass of wine.
They know hospitality!
Started with California Bubbles (Schramsberg) and truffled deviled eggs and we were only wowed from there. Service from Carley was spot on and her recomendating priceless. Can't wait to come back!
Loved this wine bar. The decore and ambiance were lovely.
MORRELL WINE BAR & CAFE has been bookmarked for the longest time & I finally went for brunch on Friday. Since it wasn't the weekend, it wasn't busy. It's a small restaurant with cute interior. The servers were very generous and the atmosphere was nice. My friends and I shared the French toast, salmon bowl, and Cobb salad. They were all really good! Worth checking out for brunch if you're in the area.
Perfect stop in the heart of the city right across the street from Rockefeller Center. Pricey, but what isn't in NYC?!
Great food, great wine, a special vine at the Rock.
Great outdoor seating. Your really can't beat the view.
Staff was rude, a popular place for tourists but there are thousands of places in NYC to go with better pricing and friendlier staff. I went in with family who were visiting to see the tree but after the hostess was extremely rude to us we left. The place is over crowded, over priced and full of tourists but because of the location we would have stayed had a member of their staff not been so rude.
Pleasant atmosphere and good Italian food in front of the Rockefeller center recommended at night hours.
