A great, simple little place. Perfect for lunch. Delicious ingredients for the right size meal. Combination hands on/personal service, great location on the canal. Would not hesitate to go again, highly recommend.
A hidden treasure with excellent food, service and view!!!!! Love this place!
Awsome breakfast. Amazing chocolate chip cookie! Very bike friendly and informative owner. Restaurant is perfectly situated off the Erie Canal Trail next to a pavilion with hot showers charging and a beautiful camping area. Must stop if riding the canal trail
Muddy Waters good food casual atmosphere quiet
I stop in for lunch. The lady there was sweet at 1st. Then I felt like I was rush to order something. I am one of those people that needs time to figure out what I want. After I order a sandwich. I noticed that she put her hands inside of bag of chips. I am one of those people don't touch my food with your bare hands. Gross. The bread was little hard to chew. I got 1 piece of bacon on my sandwich and was not cooked through. The drink that I got was too small for the price. And I pay more for the ice. So I got some water go with my food. She comes over ask if I was done. I said yes. I want to grab my drink of water. She took it with her. Then as I was leaving a gentleman came in. She said she closed at 2pm. It was 2:30pm. I got there at 2pm. She kept being rude to him. That's not how you treat your customers. For the price I pay for the food, the sandwich should been little bigger. She over price her food.
This is a delightful little place on the banks of the Erie Canal. I tried the Hoodledash Panini which was delicious. It felt almost like eating from my mother's kitchen. If you're here tour the LDS sites or even if you're not, this is a great place to get a bite to eat.
Great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I'm taking off 1 star because they do not take credit cards. That is very inconvenient. Who doesn't take credit cards these days? And who bothers to carry around cash?
A really quaint restaurant with an amazing setting. The food was really good and was made with quality ingredients. Really enjoyed our experience dining here.
Outstanding experience. If you care about the quality of what you eat, you need to eat here.
The decor of the canalside café is nautical. The service is personal. Regulars are on a first name basis. Newbies are welcomed with small town charm. Your experience will be relaxed and your taste buds will be happy.

Muddy Waters has delicious food and even better service. My grilled sandwich was the perfect bite to follow a busy morning in downtown Palmyra. If you're interested in a quaint café along the historic Eerie Canal, this is the place to go!
Wonderful food and great location by the water.
