A delightful little cafe with delicious food and coffee. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place, it is always a great experience and will put a perk in your step especially in the winter months :-).

First experience: I stopped into Perks before going on a long road trip, I walked in and ordered a coffee but i was told they were closed. Although there were still customers inside eating and drinking. I left without coffee and was a little upset.

Second experience: My girlfriend and I stopped in a few weeks later to get breakfast (I double checked to make sure they were open) and we ordered to go. We live 2 minutes away. When we got home everything was cold and soggy. The coffee tasted weird and had no flavor. Will not be returning for a third time. There are much better places in the Elmwood area.

Whenever I am in Buffalo, I make it a point to stop here. The food is always fresh and the drinks are great. Service from Chelsea? Kelsey? is pleasant and quick. She makes me feel like a welcome regular. Keep up the good work, Perks.

They have good local coffee and amazing vegan food!! They offer gluten free wraps and baked goods as well. It's a good spot for the neighborhood. A little on the pricey side but better than most other local places.

Nice and comfortable setting. Great menu with a variety of options with plenty of vegan choices. The strawberry cannoli fresh toast was incredible!

Fairly fast and friendly service. Food was pretty good and priced in the middle for breakfast. Espresso was very good.

Nice cozy corner coffee cafe. Fresh breakfast foods and sweets available. Cute and friendly service - I love all of their tea options, and also of course, great coffee. Awesome place to relax and get some coffee in the morning or to study and read a book.

Super considerate and helpful staff. They make some tasty foods especially if your vegan! The real show stopper is the vegan matcha milk shake w/ vegan whipped cream and vegan white chocolate. GET IT.

Little pricey, but nice and sunny inside, big windows to look out onto Elmwood, close to Children's hospital..for those who are there for unfortunate or happy reasons.. friendly staff, creative menu yummy baffled gods, hot and healthy breakfast selections..comfy chairs in back by a fire place..nice for winter.. I think there is outside seating on the summer..there is a fenced in area where tables COULD go. But I'm new here to Elmwood. And it's spring weather still so hopefully!

Great wraps - chicken salad wrap was awesome. Vegan options also and lots of tea options

I live in the area and come here often. It's not over priced and is a nice place with great made to order food that looks and tastes fresh and delicious. The only downsides ive seen are that the grille isnt very well ventilated, so the place can fill with a small amount of smoke, and today there were quite a few flies in the dining area, I just hope that's not an indicator of poor sanitary practices.

Great breakfast sandwiches! I had their nut flavored coffee and it was so good!! Great atmosphere and friendly people.
