This well known retro dinner was worth the stop. Came with 3 friends, we all found several options that sounded appealing and were all satisfied with our choices. Egg dishes were especially attractive and tasty. Come for brunch, weekends are busy so be prepared to wait. I would return.
Love this place. Great food, great atmosphere. Perfect little dinner. Pancakes are amazing
Typical diner atmosphere but with a fantastic and atypical menu. They offer the usual diner fare - the grits were ok, and the waffles were great, but my summer vegetable skillet was awesome. I definitely prefer their less-than-usual-diner offerings, like the skillet. Can't wait to come back and try all of the other stuff!
Good place. We only had food from the food truck outside as we had our dog with us (not sure if allowed inside) but service was quick and accomodating to changes to the menu items.
Would note it does seem like it caters predominantly to tourists. Seems to be going for a hipster vibe.
Probably the best breakfast in the neighborhood -- all day! Full of tourists when we were there. Super friendly and efficient staff. Outdoor and indoor seating. Bar with amazing cocktails attached.
Not good. Looks good from the outside and has delicious sounding menu items. In actuality, the food was bland and poorly cooked. Something simple as a waffle came out cold with a sponge like consistency. Waffles are easy to cook so no excuses. This was clearly not made fresh. I had some kind of mushroom substance on toast. Not hot, did not taste mushrooms, toast was soggy. The waitress was also rude. I would not return here if they paid me to eat.
Definitely not what I expected. This place is amazing. Great menus, great atmosphere, and great drinks! I really wish I had time to try their Bourbon Milk Shake.
Always wonderful! The way food should be! Fresh & tasty! Have only ever made it for breakfast, since it's three hours one way for us. Everything is done right! Had the fruit waffle and my partner had eggs and that great bread. I
hate you must wait and turn back in the cool number tag-wish they let you keep it.
Great food and service. The look on my GF'S face says it all! The view of the surrounding mountains are a nice addition while we ate 😍.
Let me first start by saying that the food here is REALLY GOOD for a place branding itself as a diner! When I step into a diner, I don't expect much except for the staples prepared decently. Phoenicia Diner takes it to the next level with a simple menu that has all of those staples and isn't confusing like other diner menus! The place is well designed and the staff were really friendly. This is a great place to stop after a long day of skiing!
Now for the side note: I got my car stuck in some snow outside the diner after turning in a little too fast on a very snowy day. The manager of the restaurant along with a patron or two immediately came out to assist me! I couldn't believe the generosity and kindness I witnessed here.
That being said, I was glad to then have a delicious meal so I could happily write this 5-star review. I highly recommend the place!
Love this place! If you come to the Catskills or the Hunter Mtn. area, you must come here. Everything is delicious here. I highly recommend their Breakfast Burrito and their pancakes. They even have a bar for those looking to get a buzz on. Their drinks are on point too.
The best spot for foodies in this area of the Catskills. Prices are good, food is fantastic. Menu is constantly changing based on fresh food availability. Always packed, don't be surprised if they run out of menu items. Great beer and booze selection to boot. All bottle, no draft.
