Great food, great service . . . But really overpriced
Delicious food... both savory and sweet dishes are great. Tables are too close together.
Amazing mimosas in the fall, great food, friendly staff, could not ask for a better breakfast place. My girlfriend is gluten free and they make it easy for her to order an amazing meal without having to worry. I even get the gf option because it is still amazing and I can share with her!
First time and wasn't impressed. . The crepes that others got were undercooked as were my two eggs, the whites were burned but the yellow was cold. Very expensive breakfast of two eggs, which did not include bread, a coffee and a side of bacon came to $11. I wish I would have known of the restaurant next to it which I don't have a name for but I stopped there on the way to the car and could see that it was much busier than the place I'd just left and the prices were far better. It's too bad as it is actually a cute place with much potential. Perhaps they were having an off day and apparently the staff has been locked out for awhile and unfortunately we travellers arrived too early at 8a.m. half hour after they were supposed to be open. No one seemed to be smiling either.
The food is wonderful, it's just like being back in France. Serves you a good size meal and yet I feel like I'm eating better for my mind and body
Great place for a nice breakfast when you want to spend more than you would at any old diner. This is the kind of place where breakfast would seem incomplete without a mimosa in your hand. During peak hours the service can be a little slow, due more to the capacity of the kitchen than the servers, but good things come to those who wait. Avoiding the drinks will keep your bill reasonable but where is the fun in that?
The servers (very friendly, attentive and personable), the food, the ambience, the drinks all make this restaurant a unique experience! The Crepes were packed with meat (depending on what you order ofcourse) and filling! Local Keuka Lake Wine was delicious, they even let you sample it before you even order a bottle or glass. The desserts were large in quantity and premium in quality! The Nitrogen infused Coffee was great! WITHOUT A DOUBT this is a MUST VISIT LOCATION, if you're ever near the Canal in Pittsford!
Last day in town, had to try this place. Cool, quiet ambience, it's a little hidden gem. Make sure you walk up the ramp to get in. Let me tell you, if you like chicken and waffles, definitely a hitter. Crispy chicken breast, crispy bacon, syrup , and crepe to bring it all together.
We really enjoy eating here. Everyone looked it including my 3 kids (2 age 5 and a 15 year old). It's nice having a place everyone likes. It is a smaller place and can feel a little cramped and parking down at Schoen place can sometimes be a challenge. Try the rugby! Go feed the ducks when you're done in the canal, kids love it...
Very expensive. Very slow. And for the trifecta of negatives: our food-allergy orders were mis-handled. At least one of the people in the party was violently ill within minutes. I would not recommend anyone with food allergies to trust his or her health and safety to this establishment.
I Went in, skeptical. I was the only person of color, other than one of the cooks. The service was excellent. I ordered the ALS EGGS and POULTINE. Both were delicious. I could not finish either. I stayed full throughout the day. Finally finished it for dinner. 5 star. Wednesday is half price Mamosas. Well made.
Delicious Crepes, Worth The Wait
Cute and cozy atmosphere right by the canal! I love the look and feel of this place, but just be warned it can get pretty busy at times and there's not a whole lot of room to wait. The food is on the pricey side but their dessert crepes are absolutely delicious. I also have a few other favorites for breakfast time and if I want something savory. Really love the location of this place as it's close to Nazareth as well. If you're up for trying something new, come to Simply Crepes! I don't think you'll find any better in Rochester. (:
