Hard workers. Bustling location. Shout-out to employee Jeremy for his evident expertise and leadership...all despite not being a coffee drinker!
This is my store, I live nearby. Staff is very courteous and nice, quite fast too. Some Starbucks have profoundly slow service and their people don't know how to make the drinks right. Not an issue here. Their staff doesn't seem to turn over that often. It can get busy especially late weekend mornings and for early morning weekday rush... but there is always something to sit. Popular with regulars and students.
I ordered on the app, before i went and as soon as i got there in 5 mins, it was ready on the counter. I was in there for approximately 3 secs. Also, everything was great and just how i ordered it
The only coffee shop I know of where you can order a certified gluten free breakfast sandwich.
This is a good Starbucks to go to. Not the best location for parking, because the lot is small. But otherwise a good place to hang and talk with friends.
Very good chai latte tea very good sandwich egg cheese and Gouda cheese friendly service Pleasant atmosphere
Nice Starbucks. They will let you camp out here to use the wifi.
Look, I still give their coffee the highest marks, and the employees are lovely. BUT, and its a big one-I was hungry this morning. And their food case although gull of enticing things was also chock full of fruit flies. I know how difficult they are to get rid of. In a home. But you cannot let them run amok in a display case and simply shut the doors behind them. I ate elsewhere.
This Starbucks, not infrequently, will not open on time. Several times over the past month when I get there just after the time it is supposed to open (according to the hours listed on its website) people will be inside, but there is a sign on the locked door saying that they are having a "delayed" start. There is no mentioned how long the "delayed start" is going to be or when they will be open. One time they were not open when they should have been and the store was all dark with no one inside. So if you are an early bird and like starting your day early with an enjoyable coffee from Starbucks and maybe lounging in their store for a while, don't be surprised if you get there and they are not open. Maybe the opening staff just aren't morning people. This would probably explain why they are not the most friendly baristas I've come across in the Starbucks stores when I get there early in the morning.
Great lay out and perfect service. A comfy Starbucks.
I've been studying here essentially non-stop for the past one month. Every staff member here, and I can vouch for this, having been here through all different shifts, is friendly and knowledgeable about what they're serving.
The drinks come with the usual Starbucks quality. Smaller overall compared to a lot of other Starbucks, I still am always able to find a nicely lit spot to read, with music playing at a reasonable volume in the background.
No qualms from me!
Quick Saturday service. The Baristas were not the most friendly, but still good service. But a word to the wise, smiles help.
Very busy location in the heart of Elmwood village. Probably not the best location for a quick cup of coffee due to limited parking in the area. Service is usually pretty good, unless it's a busy morning.
Place blows compared to every other Starbucks, every time I go there you have to wait a few minutes for the employees to stop talking and finally ask what you want. Last time I went there they forgot to give me my change and made my drink wrong. Worth driving another 10 minutes to a different location
I switched from my Amherst store to this location about 2 years ago, 9/10 times I've been treated very respectfully I've only had one service worker but I didn't like but that person no longer works there so I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this location my coffee is ready sometimes before I even walk in the door the manager is one of the nicest managers I have met the other nicest manager would be the Amherst store on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst.
This is two totally different Starbucks: one, during 23 hours of the day, when it's a space with Starbucks coffee and some standard, small-seat furniture. The other Starbucks, when the nearby private school has let out at about 3pm, is something of a dystopian future roleplay set.
In any case, really strong Wi-Fi, which is something you can't say for the other coffee shops on Elmwood.
I love the manager at this store SO much that I have made my password for all my accounts a combination of my favorite number and his last name (Suchan). He has a legendary sense of humor and a personality more unique than even Gary Busey. I kid you not, he even rushed me to the hospital when I passed out in the store from an anxiety related disorder. Being around him for stretches of time causes one to feel as if they have stepped into a waking dream full of supernatural jolliness.
His team is a well oiled machine; easily the best Starbucks in the State of New York, if not the Nation. I will admit, much credit is due also to the other employees beautiful souls and warm caring natures, but Mike Suchan's tightly curated atmosphere of trust and respect transcends worldly expectations, and generates a harmonious and energetic buzz which carries over into the personal lives of every customer who enters the store.
