I love going to the Bagel Pit. I don't mind waiting a while for service, but when I get to the counter to order I expect a little hospitality. The person taking my order had a rude attitude to not only myself, but also tossing customers orders in front of them when it took longer than 3 seconds for them to get up and grab it themselves. I understand a busy day causes stress, but if you work with the public you have to learn to set it aside and put your best foot forward. The food is always great, but the service today was disappointing.

Seems more aimed to the college crowd (somewhat messy, loudish music, edgy service, etc), but we still enjoyed it as a young family. No changing table but bathroom is large, and entryway is accessible with a stroller (door heavy though). We were also thankful for the high chair and open space for our toddler to stretch his legs. Space isn't baby safe so watch for thumb tacks and mini billiards set. Unfortunately, hours had changed but Google and website hadn't been updated to reflect change so maybe call ahead to check before going. Good-sized breakfast sandwiches have fun names with interesting assortment of flavors. I was impressed that cream cheese schmears were so generous! At least 8 flavors of hot coffee available plus 2 kinds of self-service iced coffees. Fun stop to support local business and downtown Plattsburgh. Glad we went!

Really good food. Don't judge by the look of the place. Friendly staff and awesome bagels and sandwich.

Good bagels and creative cream cheese flavors. Busy and full of college students and families on weekends. Can call to order ahead of you're in a hurry on a weekend morning when the line can be long.

Ashley is a great host and owner. She works hard and her staff follows her lead. They put out a quality product at a decent and affordable price. The ambiance is great lots of good music playing , good people gathering and just a good overall vibe and environment. No place is without its hiccups but they keep it to a minimum and it gets fixed quickly.

Bagel pit always has amazing service, bagels, and HASHBROWNS. Honestly the best breakfast foods I've had in a very long time.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Quick service. Great food. Employees very polite and friendly. A go to place for breakfast or lunch!

Fresh, hot and delicious, got a scrambled egg garlic bagel. Chocolate Vanilla cofree was awesome. Friendly device nice place for a bite to eat!

The best place downtown to catch lunch or breakfast! Great staff and even better food, something you'll want to check out if given the chance!!
