Oats are amazing in baths, it’s not just for eating! Believe me!
I love the fact that the bath goes milky white and leaves your skin feeling so soft and moisturised. That’s one of the reasons why I love using this wonderful versatile product. I use oats in my bath soaks.
You don’t need to buy stuff from shelves that contain oats but also other chemicals unnecessary for your and potential damaging to your skin. ... All you need is a bag of oats soaked in warm water and moisturise.
What are Oats?
Oats is a cereal grain (Avena Satvia). Oats are known for its uses as a breakfast, but also recognised as a treatment for healing several skin conditions. Oats are used in soaps, lotions, masks and of course baths.
Oats were used in the ancient Egyptian times, especially by Cleopatra, who used oats as her daily skin care routine. And now thousands of years on it is still used for baths for skin ailments, such as, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne and rashes (diaper rashes too! Just steep your baby in oat water for 10mins). It can also be used for relieving bee stings, mosquito bites
Oats contain polyphenols called avenanthramides that helps soothes inflammatory, proliferation and itching activity. It helps retain moisture on the skin due to the gel molecule naturally found in oats – This helps dryness in skin. Oats absorb excess oil, draws away toxins from skin and prevents pores from clogging, reduces redness and irritation caused by acne.
Oats are amazing aren’t they?!

Natural essential oils are a product I will be using in my salt baths and soaks, a perfect addition for aromatherapy use and a form of alternative medicinal usage.
They are used to help influence positive mood, cognitive function, mind, spiritually and the body’s health.
My focus and intentions are to help bring back balance into people’s lives through my bath salts and soaks. This is my goal and an area I LOVE when creating and making people feel good.
... I study, research and test all my own products.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils can come various plants not just flowers such as, wood, resin and roots. The oils are extracted which are highly concentrated, some have potent qualities or cosmetic qualities.
There is much more to these fantastic oils that can be used for other than their qualities, which are beneficial. Practitioners will use a vast range of essential oils, approx. 300 to help illnesses. On average, typically home practitioners will use between 10-20 oils.
Essential oils have been used for centuries, dating back 18,000 BC in France. These oils were also used by other cultures, such as Egypt, China, India, Greeks and Romans. The essential oils were used for religious ceremonies, especially for health purposes when making medicinal remedies.
Essential oils are good for balancing your bodies reaction as they absorb and work with your own body chemicals, such as blood pressure, autonomic nervous system, endocrine and the digestive system.
They are a natural analgesic, which can help provide pain relief, help mental and emotional wellbeing, infections (Tea tree and Eucalyptus are good examples) and anti-inflammatory.
The list goes on!

One of my main ingredients is Himalayan Salt.
What is Himalayan Salts?
They are a rock salt with striking pink colour because of the magnesium and iodine. They are unrefined and mined from caves, in north of Pakistan.... There is 84 natural minerals found in Himalayan salt, which is good for the skin.
Benefits of Himalayan Salts in baths:
1. It extracts toxins from the body acting as a detoxifier, results balance the PH levels and reduces the acidity in your body. 2. Your body is recharged because of the mineral frequency which your body resonates with, re-activating and regulating the body’s mechanisms and boosts your metabolism. But also triggers self-healing powers. 3. It a natural cleanser, purifying the pores of your skin which leaves a long-lasting healthy glow. The salts store in the upper layer of your skin, which helps bind water molecules. This helps plump up your skin and acts as a natural protective film, preventing the skin from drying. (Expensive body lotion and creams is not as effective as it only functions as a temporary external layer). 4. Himalayan salts can help treat skin disorders such as, eczema, psoriasis and acne, this helps promote better skin hydration and this fantastic rock salt also has excellent antiseptic qualities. 5. It helps inflammation and sores. The Himalayan Salts provide relief to muscle aches and cramps due to the trace of magnesium and other minerals. The salt contains calcium which helps strengthen bones, skin and connective tissues. It is said to be effective with reducing inflammation of sprains and relieves broken bones, arthritis, rheumatism, osteoarthritis and tendinitis. 6. Relieves migraines 7. Good for insomnia and sleep disorders 8. Helps reduce depressions and restores harmony mentally and spiritually. 9. Regulates blood circulation and cellular regeneration. 10. It is also said to help post menstrual problems.

I had an incredible time at The Green Witch Cafe! The iced latte was the perfect pick-me-up, and the quirky decor added to the charm.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Green Witch Cafe during a weekend getaway, and it exceeded my expectations. Nestled in 2845 Highway Ave, Highland, Lake County, Indiana 46322, this coffee shop offers a unique coffee experience. The latte I savored was a delightful blend of espresso and creamy milk, and it was nothing short of perfection. The café's modern design and soothing background music set the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing coffee break. It's a place I'd recommend to anyone seeking a great cup of coffee.
