Very unique place. The chef is a genius at creating amazing food. This is a dining experience not an in and out place. The complimentary cold pasta is so yummy.

Fantastic food, great service. Don't be deceived by the lobby (could use some love down there). The dining area has a great view and a modernish feel. Since it was our first time there, the chef sent us a free cold pasta that was amazing. One issue some may have is that it is a cash-only place (no credit cards). I'll would definitely go again.

Expensive, and ran out of the one dish I wanted, but good food and a nice view : ) be prepared to wait a long time for the actual entreé, this is a multi-course meal.

Been there 4 times... loved every meal !

Okay, so I ventured into The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) on a whim, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The iced Americano was strong, just the way I like it. The décor was simple but had this rustic charm that I couldn't resist. Will definitely become a regular here!

Unfortunately, my recent visit to The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) left me disappointed. The coffee was served cold, and the staff at the 429 River St, Troy, NY 12180, USA location seemed indifferent. I won't be giving it another chance.

My visit to The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) was a mixed bag. The espresso was fantastic, but the seating was uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. Good coffee, but not an ideal workspace.

The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) consistently exceeds my expectations! The coffee is always top-notch, and the friendly staff makes every visit memorable. The 429 River St, Troy, NY 12180, USA location is my sanctuary for a caffeine fix.
