Very unique place. The chef is a genius at creating amazing food. This is a dining experience not an in and out place. The complimentary cold pasta is so yummy.
Fantastic food, great service. Don't be deceived by the lobby (could use some love down there). The dining area has a great view and a modernish feel. Since it was our first time there, the chef sent us a free cold pasta that was amazing. One issue some may have is that it is a cash-only place (no credit cards). I'll would definitely go again.
Expensive, and ran out of the one dish I wanted, but good food and a nice view : ) be prepared to wait a long time for the actual entreé, this is a multi-course meal.
Not everything needs a sauce... Why are so many things sauced?
Always love it! Best dining experience in the area!😀
Been there 4 times... loved every meal !
And YES ! That cold salad is something legends are made from !!! :)
The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) is a coffee shop that knows how to make a lasting impression. Nestled in 429 River St, Troy, NY 12180, USA, it's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. The latte I enjoyed was a masterpiece, adorned with intricate foam art. The café's inviting ambiance and knowledgeable staff make it a must-visit for coffee aficionados like me. I can't wait to return.
I had a terrible experience at The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical). The coffee was lukewarm, and the staff seemed disinterested. I won't be back to the 429 River St, Troy, NY 12180, USA location anytime soon.
I couldn't have asked for a better coffee experience than The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical). The latte was smooth and creamy, and the friendly barista made me feel right at home. It's my new coffee hideaway.
So, The River Street Cafe (Closed Until Fall 2018, Chef Is On Sabbatical) in 429 River St, Troy, NY 12180, USA – it's a mixed bag. The chai latte was a flavor explosion, and the barista was a caffeine maestro. But the place felt like a library during finals week – dead silent. Bring your own conversation, folks!
