I have travelled to many places for lunch during my tenure working downtown, and none of them compare to the quality put forth by the Washington Market. The food is exceptionally fresh and delightfully delicious. The staff always have smiles and are very friendly. Prices are fair given the location, and you can get a complete meal for around $10. An absolute must go.
Smokey smash burger with caramelizes bacon and glazes onions apparently a Friday special really good.
You wanna talk fair pricing?!? Just walked out with 2 large bananas an apple and a 20 oz coke for $2.79!!!! Sweet baby Jesus you couldn't even do that at an Aldi!! If I'm ever stuck down town for a few hours again I'm definitely heading here again !!
After reading reviews I had to try the place out. The layout is very spaciouns. Groceries include basic necesities such as; milk, bread, and beer (lol). Honestly though they do have a good array of healthy foods. I had a ham and cheese sandwich on rye that was pre-made, and I was surprised how fresh and delicious it was. I also bought a pre-made Greek Pasta Salad which was also great. Very friendly service and a very clean building.
I've been here a lot over the years and the one constant is the friendly staff and great food. I love going there for lunch and enjoying the sandwiches. My only complaint is they don't have fountain beverages nut that isn't enough for me to take off a star!
Lots of space inside, some essential groceries stocked, and a super cool atmosphere. The people who work there are the best!
Love the food, great prices and vegetarian options.
Best breakfast sandwich egg whites and cheddar!!
Very fresh & delicious sweets! You can tell that the ownership and staff are committed to their customers as well as their product.
I stumbled upon The Washington Market (Permanently Closed) during my coffee quest, and it was a game-changer. The cold brew was like an icy caffeine punch to the face, and the staff was as cool as cucumbers. Plus, they had board games – coffee and Connect Four, anyone?
