Love this bakery! The Olive batard and macadamia chip cookies are to die for. This morning, they had biscuits and gravy as a special and I didn't have time!

The food is absolutely amazing here, the breakfast sandwiches are a bit expensive to eat there often, but for special occasions, its worth the trip. Great coffee too. The staff is mostly friendly, but I have found myself served by a few young ladies of the staff at the register who can be very short and rude when taking your order. Please improve this.

Great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch, or just to pick up some bread or cookies to take home. The salad I had for lunch was delicious. Great selection of add-ons for the salad. Make sure to get some macarons for there and some to go!

Good stuff. Here's what you need to know: fresh local ingredients and real, homemade bread--the kind with a crust that you have to chew. Good cookies, too. I had a poached egg, ham and brie sandwich, which despite being very salty ('cause it's ham and brie and I knew it would be salty) was quite good. The Village Bakery & Cafe has a nice, casual atmosphere, too. The whole place is done in reclaimed (looking) wood, concrete and exposed beam ceilings. But it works, the aesthetic doesn't feel corporate or forced. It feels like what it is: a quality neighborhood bakery with a respectable menu committed to serving up solid food to it's community and neighbor's. Think independent, one-off, quality driven Starbucks.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches for lunch! I love that it's local. It also has delicious breads and pastries. I wish that the pittsford location had a bigger parking lot, but there's limited space in the village and there's parking across the street.

My only regret is that I'm not a local and can't eat here every day! It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had! I ordered the quiche florentine and I had dreams about it for the rest of the day... It came with a delicious side salad which was a happy surprise, and I got to try the stuffed French toast, hot chocolate, and blueberry coconut muffin in addition to my own meal... All of it was sensational! I hope they expand and come to the west coast so that I can give them my business again soon!

Love this place...except it has the worst parking lot EVER! Great breads ,cookies and pastries (you can get genuine French pastries by Jon Claud...if you missed him from his excellent bakery/ restaurant in Perinton years ago...he is back from France!!)...almond croissants are to die for, AND hard to get! I love soup, and they have interesting choices...chicken salad is a big favorite! Coffee and coffee drinks good too. They only serve food till 3, but it's open till 7 for dessert and coffee, and bread and gourmet grocery item purchases. I do wish they would serve food the entire time it is open...there are many times I would have!!

Delicious drinks, polite and helpful staff, very clean, nice bathrooms. Food is good to great, sometimes have samples by the front door. Recommend the olive bread and chai lattes. Rustic ambiance. A bit too warm in summer.

My friends and I waited and waited for a table that wouldn't clear, so we had to go somewhere else. I went back later to buy bread and I waited in line for 15 minutes. There should be a bread-only line if you are not buying made-to-order foods. The bread was good but I will not go back.
