We love the Angelika! The staff, the atmosphere, the neighborhood, it’s all simply wonderful.

This is our go to theater for the latest independent films. We love going to the first showings of the day during the week to get our choice of seats without crowds!

There is no better place to see a movie than the Angelika in Shops at Legacy, Plano. The staff is friendly and even brought me fresh popcorn to my seat before the movie started. The seats are comfortable, clean, and spacious as are the theatres. Before or after a movies there are many shops, restaurants, and hot spots in the same area. Finally, the movies are festival winners from all over the world, so you get to see the best first.

The Angelika is our favorite theatre and day or night. The seating is fantastic and the coffee/espresso wine bar is a great option.

Small but quaint place. I went on a Sunday so it wasn’t very busy.

Resonably priced matinee price, really chill Sunday morning. There was a church service happening in the theatre next to the one I was in but once the movie started I couldn't hear them.

Not very crowded probably the materials are all for real grownups sound system is great not a bad place yo enjoy a classic movie!!

Loved this theater - going back to see more films. I love the parking (free!!!), and the choices of restaurants/bars/bistros. The boutiques and shops are fantastic, too. The Shops at Legacy is this Plano, Texas, location.

Loved this small, well appointed theatre, especially the velvet seats. It has an upscale feeling about it from top to bottom. Will definitely return.

Angelika is a fine theater experience. Nice leather seats, great non-traditional movies. A place for grown-ups. They even sell cocktails for those so inclined. I love the Angelika, I'd like to think it loves me back.

We went to see “Concert for George”. The theater is nice. The seats are comfortable, although I wish they could be leaned back a little. The sound was not so great, however. For a concert film with 5.1 audio remastered, I was expecting to be blown away. A bit of a letdown, to be honest.

The theater is getting old and tired. The armrests are broken on some of the chairs. The chairs are big and comfy like other theaters. It needs a make over.

Great location to see films not available just anywhere. Seating is sufficient since it's really about the movie but come on staff please pretend you enjoy working here.

Everything is good, location, staff, etc.. but is time to change the seats and no have everyone cramped, uncomfortable, smelling the person next to you and having the person behind kicking your seat every time they move :)

Comfortable seating. I thought the ticket price for a matinee was a bit high and the hot dog was not hot and on a hard roll. The staff was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Eclectic mix of movies playing. I am sure I will go back again.

Always have good indie and hard to find films but the ICEE machine has been broken for a while, it is the little things that make going to the movies fun!!!

I would give the Angelika a 5 on everything except for the method of having people wait in line for a popular movie. It's happened every time we go to a popular movie. We get there super early so we can choose our seats. We go upstairs and wait in line but there is no one 'tending' to the line and people come and act like they are going in and then they can't get in the theatre so they suddenly go to the front of the line! Now we don't go to the new movies at the Angelika anymore bc it's too frustrating.

Everything was great until we recieved our pizza. It was cold in the center and had way too much goat cheese.

the reason i say the Angelika is an “art house” in air quotes is because two out of two times, i’ve had to leave the beginning of the movie to ask the staff to turn the house lights out in the theatre while the staff chats amongst themselves and oversalts the popcorn. but i have no choice, if i want to see non-blockbuster movies. sad!
