Wonderful service, Wonderful food! The owner takes pride in the business and it shows. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. This quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space to entertain or just a great meal.

We had a blast at trivia, the service was on point, and the food was really good! I attended a meeting that was catered by Barley Wine this morning and it was probably one of the best ham and cheese omelets i've ever had :)

This was an amazing and delicious lunch. Everything was fresh and warm, and certainly, more than we expected for such at an awesome price. While their menu isn't very long, the items available are handcrafted, delicious, and made to order with a unique spin. The atmosphere is relaxing and the inside remodel was done so beautifully. Eating our lunch here was, overall, a pleasant experience and we will certainly be coming back in the future. Don't change a thing! :D

This has become my favorite places to eat in Jacksonville. I love the atmosphere which they are constantly adding great things. I LOVE the food. I just had the BEST French Dip Sandwich ever. Their chicken salad is to die for. The food is FRESH prepared, no microwaving, all made to order. I can't say enough about Lucy, the owner.

The attention to detail and pride in the food is what makes this restaurant top notch! I have dietary restrictions and the servers helped me to find something perfect for me. Now I am hooked.

The restaurant is GORGEOUS! You would never expect such a beautiful gem from the looks of downtown J-Ville.

Omg the breakfast taste as if Grandma cooked it herself, I hop to Barley's Wine before I go to waffle House or any other establihments. The service is as you would love to be treated,the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, the Chef and ownership make sure you get your launch in a timely order so you won't be late going back in from a launch break.... I would give them more then 5stars if I could..

Need a caterer? Hire this one! Whether an intimate dinner party or a large event, they've got you covered. We had a small dinner party and all the details were taken care of. Dinner and appetizers were delicious, stunning, and affordable. Everything was plated and served to us at the dinner table. We loved it!

I completely enjoy the handcrafted made to order food. Luci, Meaghan, and Jenny have contagious personalities that make the atmosphere what it is. If you are looking for a fun and fresh environment with mouth-watering food then BARLEY WINE is IT!

Couldn't wait for them to start Sunday brunch. No surprise, it was amazing! Banana Fosters French Toast and chocolate chip pancakes were two of the fabulous things we ordered. Luci and her crew are top notch. Can't wait till next Sunday.

Nice atmosphere, cute food presentation. Menu is somewhat small but I ordered the soup of the day (chicken tortilla) and a side of their Thai spring rolls. Both orders tasted good. Service was good although our server seemed somewhat timid, perhaps they are just new at serving :) We were offered to go cups of what we were drinking (water) which was a nice touch for mid day routines!



I'll definitely be back!
