I had high expectations for Baso Donuts & Pastries, but it fell short. The coffee was underwhelming, and the prices were steep for what they offered. I won't be returning.

I have mixed feelings about my experience at Baso Donuts & Pastries at 12703 Alief Clodine, Houston, Texas 77082. On one hand, the latte was superbly crafted, with intricate latte art that was almost too beautiful to drink. However, the wait time was longer than expected, and the prices were a bit steep. I appreciated the attention to detail in their coffee-making process, but I hope they can work on their efficiency.

So, I ventured into Baso Donuts & Pastries in 12703 Alief Clodine, Houston, Texas 77082, and their cortado was the real deal. Smooth, creamy, and full of coffee goodness. The café had this modern, industrial vibe with exposed pipes and indie rock tunes playing. Definitely a spot for the cool coffee crowd.
