We would like to give a shout out to Karen & Rodney Sanders @ Caddo Cove Marina here on Lake Quitman. It has been so nice this past year to have a local eatery right here on our lake that serves scrumptious meals. We enjoyed lunch here today (wonderful hamburgers), and Karen shared with us some of her ideas for events that she wishes to bring to Lake Quitman...of course the next event will be the chili cook off this coming Saturday. I had high hopes for Caddo Cove, but my visit left much to be desired. The coffee was lukewarm, and the service was slow. It took ages to get my order, and when I finally did, it was disappointing. The lackluster brew and disinterested staff made for a forgettable experience. I won't be returning anytime soon.
