The service is truly slow and unprofessional , my food was cold, dry, and bland. The location is Dallas and Richardson is amazing but we will not return to this location.
Good food but terrible service... not exaggerating, it’s terrible
Lively atmosphere, good service, good food and bottomless coffee what more can you ask for? We ordered the fruit pancrepes and a western omelette and they were so delicious! The waitstaff should fill in guests about coffee being self serve especially when being told it was our first time. We waited maybe ten minutes before I could ask waitress about our coffee. That is when she mentioned it was around the corner and self serve.
Friend brought us here to have a Sunday brunch. Arrived around 12, took about 20 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted to drink, but that was only because we had to get up and ask an employee. After we placed our drinks, another waitress came by asking if we have been helped. We told her we got our drinks ordered and she took down our orders. About 30 minutes go by and our food didn't arrive. We had to get up and ask again, this time we were approached by the manager. He assured us our food was on our way after hearing what we all ordered. At first, only two plates came in. then another two. My girlfriend's waffle came in, but was still missing her classic breakfast dish. After she finished her waffle in about 15 minutes, she got up to ask where the rest of her food was. One waitress told my girlfriend she needs to hold on, but she told her no because it has been almost an hour since she ordered and she hasn't received her main dish. The manager came by shortly afterwards with her food. About 5 minutes later, a waitress we did not see before, came by and gave us the same entree my girlfriend ordered, except it was scrambled eggs, not over easy like my girlfriend ordered. Not sure why we received that plate. Took about another 10 minutes until we got our check and was able to leave. They did void the food my girlfriend ordered. Sadly it didn't end after we left. Her son did not started to feel right later that night and didn't feel like eating. This morning he kept throwing up whatever he consumed. Doctors said he has food poisoning. I seen bad service before, and I can understand if it happens, some times things don't go well. But this was just horrible. We had three different waitresses, none who every came by to ask if were doing okay or if we needed a refill. I don't think no one knew who was supposed to serve us. On top of that, it felt as if they lost our ticket that had our order. A group of guys who got here after us, got their food before us, finished it, and left before we got our food. There was even a semi large group who came in way after us as well, that started to receive their food just as we were receiving ours. I would say I would give it a 2nd chance, but my friend who brought us here said this was his 2nd time coming here and was giving it a 2nd chance after he had a somewhat bad experience last time he came here.
Delicious. Amazing food. Long time customer. Clean. Friendly staff. Great cafe.
Great and peaceful place to eat. They had a variety of food and drinks and a decent portion size for the buck. We didn't get our drinks to go with it and reminded them when we got charged for it. It seemed short staffed but job well done still.
The slowest service ever! There was no sense of urgency to get me my food. Only like 11 people in whole restaurant. Watched one guy not even get his food and he came in just after me. Food was just okay. Won't be back.
I love the Cafe Brazil on 75, and I usually refuse to go to any other. I made a exception today and it was so sad. I asked for chocolate milk for my 2 year old which was brought out in a very small, very full cup with no lid. I asked for a lid and was met with a confused stare. I got the lid, but no straw and had to go get one of those.
The food took about 15 minutes to come out and when it did both orders of fruit pan crepes were downgraded to regular pan crepes. The hash brown casserole was cold, the gordo crepes with potatoes all cold. It didn't even look like the same meal as I'm used to from the 75 location. And my daughter's side of bacon was really tough and chewy, like jerky. And last I ordered the chocolate indulgence, which is my favorite thing, only to have it covered in flat cool whip. Just a lame experience.
I went here for a quick bite to eat, their french toast is absolutely divine
I was so excited when the Fort Worth location opened. I didn't have to go all the way to Dallas for my Cafe Brasil fix. This location however has been riddled with problems. The security for the building will not take care of incidents that occur after 4 pm which is why they had to start closing so early. Now they have extended the hours again Thursday through Sunday which makes it easier to make it in for the DELICIOUS FOOD!!! Yes, sometimes you have to wait awhile, but the coffee is free and if you ask for Sal, you will get great service! I'll keep coming as long as it's open.
Update: 10/26/016
The food and coffee is still good, but everything else is awful. Every time we come in here we are the only ones and everything is filthy. The floors, the counters, the bathroom. The trash on the coffee counter is overflowing, the coffee cups are dirty, the coffee carafes are empty. Today we sat for a full 15 minutes without anyone helping us except to bring one drink (instead of the two we asked for) and menus. We picked out something to eat but no one ever came to take our order.
Unfortunately this is just the way it goes st this location. Any other Café Brazil we go to is wildly awesome... Unfortunately just not this one.
Great food, great prices, great coffee, great staff and the restroom sinks are a must see
The service is terrible. We used to frequent the Carrollton location which is great, so we've tried this location twice since we moved to this side of town. Both times were terrible. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then another 15 to receive our OJ. At that point we ordered food that took AN HOUR to come out. We won't be back, which is sad because we loved the Carrollton location.
