We were so excited to see Rafael and visit with him at his new location last night. We had a great dinner and enjoyed the wonderful pineapple salsa!!! We will definitely go back again soon!!!

Tonight, I sampled the reborn Cafe Red Onion. The food was wonderful! I had the Chicken Brazil--so good and a dramatic presentation. The service was helpful and efficient. Welcome back! I missed you! Ready to have Mayan Chicken again...

The food is exceptional. I have been dining at Cafe Red Onion for decades, unfortunately for me it is a drive, but worth it. Rafael is passionate about his wine and made a wonderful recommendation.

So glad that Rafael is back! Café Red Onion opened a new location on Eldridge in the energy corridor. Food is fabulous as always and reasonably priced; and he did a great job on décor. Love the limited menu and can't wait to see what new dishes he will be rolling out!

Run, do not walk, to eat at this restaurant!!! The owner/chef is passionate about his cooking and his Honduran Heritage. The food is artfully presented and absolutely delicious!! Great wine selection and lovely atmosphere!! This place is a hidden gem that is going to be HUGE!!!

I have been eating at Cafe Red Onion 15+ years. I remember when the Red Onion first opened on 290 near Bingle. I never had a pineapple salsa until I ate at Red Onion.



Chef Galindo makes the prettiest looking meals. What is better than the looks is the food selections taste fantastic.



I strongly suggest you try Cafe Red Onion sometime.

Café Red Onion has been a long time favorite. So happy Chef Rafa is back. His cuisine is fabulous. Great atmosphere and service. Superb wine list. As my husband says quality and value are unbeaten.

A welcome return for a Houston favorite. Rafa and his staff are hospitable and charming, and the cuisine is stellar -- as is the norm for this establishment.
