The toy drive at Carroll Street cafe tonight was simply designed to help people. It was in no way a political or religious statement. We at Carroll Street Cafe have no political or religious affiliations. We apologize to anyone who was offended by our choice of charity and will certainly look in to other options. it is a bit discouraging that no matter how you try to do something small to help out, there are always those who can find fault in it. Very awesome, I would highly recommend it. I've never tried grits before, but the cheese grits were delicious. The Shrimp Frittata was divine.

They should make cologne that smells as good as this shop! Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Amazing coffee and food. If you're not here, you're missing out. Oh yeah, Apple Pay (as all shops should have!) so you can walk/jog/bike there and leave your wallet at home.

So, we were impressed with the specialty cocktails and the beer selection . . . and then the tapas arrived. OMG! My stomach has a new happy place - and this is it!



We can NOT wait to try brunch!

My daughter took my wife and I it was an awesome experience! Great atmosphere and excellent food. Definitely will be one of my go to places in Atlanta!

Loved it! Best simple lunch of brie and bread while enjoying the gorgeous day on the sidewalk. A trip to the bathroom found an unexpectedly current facility and on my way who could not notice the well-stocked liquor wall. The staff was polite and informative too. Wish it was close - I'd go often but it's a long way from Roswell.

Love the brunch here. The omelettes are amazing and the Benedict too. The grits are some.of my favorite. If you save enough room, they have am amazing cake and pie selection from all the best bakeries around Atlanta.

Another great meal at Carroll Street Cafe.

I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint.

Parking is always a challenge though.

I love the food, but not consistent. I was there on a busy day and they were shortstaffed so service was slow. I always feel like I'm in New Orleans when I'm in this neighborhood.

Hamburger is good and lots of food for the value. Beer is reasonably priced. Service was fine. Really cute local place!

I keep going back to this place because it’s convenient to where I live and the food is decent. I just always have a problem with the service and waitstaff there. I probably would have spent a majority of my paycheck there being that it’s right across the street. Instead, I only go now when there is no other choice. I really was hoping it would improve but I have lived in the area for three years and every single time, the staff are unfriendly and inattentive, even when it’s not really busy. This was my last visit. The shrimp and grits were super spicy and I like hot stuff but this was inedible. Hopefully the restaurant opening next door will do better.

I’ve always heard great things about this place & finally got to check it out last night. The desserts are fabulous (made elsewhere) but the service was lacking & the drinks were all terrible. My first glass of port wine came covered in lipstick, I wiped it off with a napkin instead of making a fuss. My 2nd glass came full of sediment, full. The waitress acted like that was normal for port wine, took it away, no substitute or offer to replace, but it was on the bill. My husband ordered a Manhattan, specified stirred. It was shaken & foamy, ratios were off, possibly the worst Manhattan & undrinkable. In over 10yrs, I think it’s the first drink I’ve ever seen him send back. Our friends ordered the tequila specialty cocktail & champagne. I think they had to go to a liquor store to buy the champagne it took so long. My husband got his drink, returned it & ordered champagne before she got hers, but at least they both liked it. Our friend struggled through what he said was a terrible tequila cocktail. We will not be back unless it’s to grab dessert to go.
