The atmosphere is fun and they have local artists play music and paintings displayed on the walls for sale. I had eggs over easy once before and on this trip. The yolk of one of the eggs last time had been broken but the eggs were good this time. I had about 6 servings of hash browns on my plate but my friend across the table had only a small portion. The biscuit and my other friend said his croissant and muffin were all a little stale. It almost seemed like they were cooked yesterday. We were there at 9:30 in the morning so I would have expected something fresh and fluffy. The bottom was hard and inedible. The bacon was great on everybody's dish with huge portions.

It seem like a fun place to go to work on your laptop or for a family to enjoy a meal without worrying about the kids annoying anyone.

I would go back at another mealtime to see how the rest of the menu fares. The prices are fairly reasonable.

This place is very versatile. From daily morning yoga classes to Sundays music concert for kids Cherrywood got it all. Good food, beer, coffee drinks and big dog friendly patio area and music. It gets really busy and packed if you want to check this place out, get there early!

Cool place. Has a nice outside seating area. What was not so nice (and this was not the fault of the restaurant) was the fact that one of the many dogs people had brought with them urinated right in one of the main pathways that people had to use to get in and out. Not the best environment in which to enjoy my food.

Small coffee and brew house with excellent food and maintains the old Austin feel while straddling the more trendy hipster crowds.

The wait is about average for prepared foods ranging between 10 and 15 minutes. Drinks are what to expect, loose leaf teas, designer coffees, and about 10 different beers on tap.

Seating ranges between communal and individual tables and some outdoor seating. Dog friendly.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant coffee house with a great beer selection and a Texas via New Orleans inspired menu. It's the closest thing I've ever seen you a real pub in Texas. The staff is friendly and seemed to know my name after a few visits. They have a wonderful little stage that catches some great bands. I'm lucky to live within walking distance.

Loved this place and their taco's great portions! The latte actually comes with art if requested, service was great during our first time and we'll be back. Dog-friendly patio is a plus too.

I appreciate a coffee shop with real plates, mugs and cutlery. Long, wide tables, plus smaller ones, some tucked in corners, even breakfast bar style seating with table lamps straight from your mom's guest room. Just a brewed coffee and a cinnamon roll. Both were just right.
Leashed dogs welcome on the large patio. A canister of dog biscuits at the register. A sign explaining the "20% gratuity on tabs left overnight" policy. Plenty of outlets to plug in laptops. I'll visit again.

Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Great indoor and outdoor seating with great food options. I opted for a smoothie and the shrimp and grits. Everything was amazing and I would've given this a 5 star but was unable to eat shrimp as they were NOT devained! The grits were fantastic, creamy savory and just the right consistency but wish i could have enjoyed the entire dish as a whole.

Good coffee and cold beer here. Check out some of the kids music performances on Sundays, especially Big Don on the first Sunday every month here. Get there early or you won't find a table. Great food too, but a little pricey. Bring snacks for your kids to save a little money.

Been here a couple times, and both were on Sunday mornings when Cherrywood features children's music in the outdoor area.

The line was crazy long in both occasions because of the combined crowd of regulars plus families. But the staff do a good job of moving people along as efficiently as possible without making you feel rushed or that you're inconveniencing them. I can't speak to how crowded it is on a normal morning, but if you're planning on coming for the weekly children's music event, come early or be prepared to wait in line.

Ordered lattes and breakfast tacos, which were all quite good. Looking back, not the best I've ever had, but no complaints.

Didn't partake in any of the craft beer selection, but the tap offerings looks just as good as any respectable place in Austin.

The inside looks inviting enough, with lots of tables for groups or solo guests to work.

Outdoor seating area is nice and good for the kids' music event. I definitely recommend arriving early, because the tables will fill up. Parents and children alike all seemed to have a good time. The seating area is fenced in pretty well, so you shouldn't have to worry about little ones wandering out and into the nearby parking lot and street.

Overall, a nice local cafe that would get more of my business if I lived in the area. Check it out!

Love.this place! Not in the mood for coffee?? Have a fresh smoothie (trust me, the Sunset Lane is heaven)....be prepared for a wait in line and at your table. Not the best place to stop for a quick bite but definitely great if you have some to spare!

Easy going, healthy coffee shop. Get your brews and your booze here. Free WiFi, outdoor patio, and dog friendly. Their biscuits and gravy plate is amazing too, and I don't even like gravy!

Solid breakfast tacos, I like the Sol. Also they have some good vegetarian options and some vegan friendly snacks. Good Austin vibe with about 25 beers on tap. Often several of them are ipas. Honestly haven't tried there coffee, I've heard good things.

Often crowded with a mostly younger-ish crowd, students and working professionals. Sometimes they have live music outside. Don't count on getting a parking spot, but you can find parking on the street, might have to walk some.

It is a coffee shop that is true to Austin, young, hip and craft beer, ha. Or coffee, why not both?

Coffee review only: Unfortunately, if your looking for good coffee you won't find it here. We live close to this coffee house and are sadden that we have to pass it for other options. We've tried the espresso and drip a few times and it's always bitter. This place as great potential, and I hope management considers changing it's coffee beans or methods.
