Would put more stars if I could .. they have the best cookies , sandwiches , fruitcakes ( and I don’t like fruitcakes but theirs is to die for ) no kidding ! Wait staff are friendly and coffee beats Starbucks 10 to none hands down !! Been to both locations in Corsicana I guess on I-45 and in town and had great experiences both places and if had more $$$ would blow all of it here... thank God I don’t live close by !

What a great cake selection ! I got the Original DeLuxe Fruitcake while I visited friends in Corsicana today and it is so so good !The Bakery is more like the European style which I love.The staff that served me was super nice and very helpful ! They gave me several samples to try before I selected. I will definitely order it soon ! Thanks again for your hospitality !

We visited the Waco location on our way home to Missouri, all the treats that we got were delicious! It was a cold day, and in our haste to put our coats on when we got out of the car, dropped a piece of jewelry in The parking lot, and did not realize it was missing until we got home. We called the store and the staff went above and beyond to help us, they scoured the parking lot and found the ring, then The manager packaged it up and put it in the mail to us! We will make it a point to stop in for cookies anytime we are down that way. Thank you so much!

Stopped by for the first time yesterday and my husband and I loved it! We both got a couple cookies and some coffee. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be stopping again the next time we are in the area.

Shop is always super clean, food is good, and staff is always great. If you are looking for frills and some huge retail experience, this isn’t it. If you are more into a quaint, hometown feel where little old men sit with coffee swapping stories, and your kids can play out on the nice shaded patio - this is it. I’ve never been disappointed here, and I’ve been coming for 10 years when I’m ever in town . Come early if you want the largest selection of breakfast items! Thank you Collin Street for a great, simple memory this weekend with our kiddos.

My late father in law always on his way home from cancer treatments in Houston he had to stop at your bakery to get a traditional fruit cake! It is a neat bakery and they let you sample. I love their pineapple pecan fruit cake and their cherry icebox cookies! Most of the time he would have the whole cake eating before we got back Oklahoma!

Keeping a Christmas tradition alive!
So the story goes:
In 1984, my mother sent a Collin Street Bakery fruitcake to my uncle. He HATES fruitcake, so he put it in his freezer. The next year, he shipped it back to my mom with a note saying "keep your freaking fruitcake". So my mom put the fruitcake in her freezer and sent it back to him the next year with a note saying "it was a gift, you keep the freaking fruitcake". This round robin of fruitcake deliveries continued my whole life. The fruitcake may or may not have been replaced a time or two, no one really knows.
In 2013, I thought it would be fun to send a Collin Street Bakery fruitcake to his daughter with a note saying "it's funny how we grow up and become our parents". The next year, low and behold, my fruitcake appears at my front door with a note saying "ewww....its fruitcake"! And so the tradition continues.

It was the best chicken salad sandwich I have ever eaten! It's the delicious pecan bread , freshly baked, there, that takes it over the top! As far as service, my 12 yr old granddaughter, accidentally ordered the spicy version of roast beef sandwich! The beef was great but served on jalapeno buns! They kindly replaced the bun with a white bun, and wouldn't even let me pay for the bun! I will go there every time I am in the area!

Had another great visit at
The Original Collin St Bakery today on 7 th st in Corsicana. Really enjoyed meeting and visiting with one of the partners Mr Crawford who was there and a big thank you to the young lady named Kris who helped us.
She was so knowledgeable about their products and a great salesperson. Cookie samples are always so good , and we bought3 dozen to take home. Yum!!

Goodness! Was driving through Corsicana yesterday, on my way back home. I’d had a long emotional day and stopped in to see all the yummy goodies. There were so many amazing things to choose from. And the sweet girl that helped me was just wonderful(I wish I could remember her name)! I walked out with more cookies than I should’ve had and a key lime pie. They’re so good. It was a great experience to end a sad day.

Awesome fruitcake, even for ppl like me that always thought they don’t like fruitcake. They provide free samples so you can taste before committing. I have been going to this bakery for over 20 years, and enjoy it as a day trip from Dallas. Conveniently, it is on the route from the Galveston Cruise Port and it’s now a required stop. I always buy cookies. The artisan breads are good and so very fresh. It’s worth a detour in any plans down I-45.

Always like Stopping here on my way to Houston for 3 things, A Chicken Salad Sandwich, Cherry Ice Box Cookies, and Prailines!!!!! Wednesday Night my family and I were driving by and VERY Hungry and it was 10 mins till 7 and even though your staff was ready to go home (I know the feeling, I work in a restaurant too) they pulled out all the stops to accommodate us very well. Cookies are a little on the high side... .40 and up. The store is clean and also serves sandwiches but we really didn’t go there for that. Fruit cakes are very good, various ones. We bought a traditional one and a strawberry one.

Just made my last trip to Collin Street Bakery. They no longer make the cookies we love: fudge tart & pecan fancy. Can’t even order them! Going home won’t be the same. Thanks, Collin Street Bakery!�

Good food, reasonable price. But they literally dumped all the tea 2 minutes past closing time while 8 people were still finishing up their meal, I guess no drinks for the ride for us.

We were driving thru and decide to try this out. Grilled cheese sounded delicious. I added game for $3.50. Wow $3.50. So in I'll get a few slices of ham. Total was $11.00 Then our food came out. It was the saddest grilled cheese ever. Grilled cheese? More like cold cheese on bread. $11 dollars for a grilled cheese? Don't wast your time. Better off going to Appelbees next door.
