Business lunch. Good service and good food. Server was quick and polite.

I just left and the service sucked, our waitress's name was Christina who had an awful attitude. My mom had to ask for her tea 2x after being brought water. The waitress ignored us half the time. She asked for our orders 2 minutes after sitting down and came back if 2 minutes later. Then when we were ready we waited 10-15 good minutes for her to come back. We said we would be trying the pumpkin crunch cake. She brought us A COLD butter cake with melted whipped cream. It was so hard let alone the taste, we couldn't finish it and it came straight from the ice box. When trying to pay she looked at us but stayed in the kitchen. if she did not come out to take care of another table then I would have given the ticket to a different waitress. She walked away where I had to follow her and give her the check before leaving with my mom. We will NOT be returning.

Two NY strips ordered medium well; both received undercooked with mine unevenly "barely" medium and my partner's being bloody rare to medium.
There's a peculiar smell to the place which you'll get accustomed to in a half hour.
There was a surprise 6 dollar shrimp fee.
Total for 2 sweet teas, 2 undercooked ny strips, and a $6 shrimp surprise was $46.12
I've had better for half the price.

The food was excellent. The service was good and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. I give it 5 stars.

Food was good. Service sucked. At peak dinner hour there was no hostess in the front, i had to stare at employees for several minutes and there were also people a head of me that were also waiting to be seated. Order was taken relatively quickly but the serving time was off. The appetizer and salad came out right on top of each other then the entree quickly followed. I waited for what seemed like 10 minites after i was done eating to be moticed by my waitress and i had to ask for the desert menu. So, this visit, the only saving grace was the food.

We came for good southern cooking and that's just what we got. We ordered two appetizers two meals and two drinks and it came to only 40 dollars . The service was supurb. Would not recommend the rice casserole or the baked squash.

Love this place for country home cooking and rolls. Fish and rice lunch pretty tasty as well. Rolls have been disappointing the last 3 times I've been, like they've been sitting under heat lamp too long. But food still yum!

I ordered food to go. I asked the cashier how long it would take for my food to be ready and she said 10 minutes. I told her good because I had something to do. When I returned, not only was my order not ready, the manager, who was on the register, did not know anything about it. If I didn't have my receipt, I would have had to pay again for my order. The worst thing is that the manager never apologized. He didn't even say thank you.

The food is decent but nothing great. The fried okra was really greasy and over cooked. That's my favorite side dish so the quality was very disappointing. As far as service, it was way less than stellar last night. We waited for a while at the front before being seated. The hostess came from the bathroom and sat us as soon as she got out, but not a single employee recognized us otherwise letting us know some one would soon be with us. Once we were seated and our waitress (Anastasia, i believe) made us feel very rushed. After putting in our appetizers, she loudly let the cook staff (as well as the patrons) know that she had a party to get to so they needed to hurry. Our meals were brought and she didn't give us five minutes to get into our food and she was bringing our check. We had planned on ordering a couple of desserts. She was nice, but her party was more important than our dinner, I suppose. I think we'll stick to Cracker Barrel when we want a home-style meal out.

I thought the food was fine, but, there is nothing on that menu that you can't make at home for cheaper and better tasting... that sounds mean, but if you're from the south of the Mason Dixon line you already know these recipes for the most part. If you're looking for comfort food then yes go here or go to Cheddar's scratch kitchen. They're both the same in my book. Equal in quality and service and overall experience.

Very disapointed! In this visit in the past we have had no problems! but this time it just seemd the server was desperate to leave, and was going to make sure we wouldn't come back! Messed up the oder horribly the manager did comp, it but would have been nice to have eaten as a family instead of my son watching us eat then us watching him!! couldn't get water refills but once and the water was at room temps no ice! I am not much of a complaner but this was enough for me to stay away for sometime!

Good food in large quantities. Good service. Lunch prices started at around $7 and up. One note: their sweet potato fries come with a cinnamon sugar sprinkle, which on the day of my visit was much more cinnamon than sugar. They were inedible because the dryness of the cinnamon would choke you if you didn't drink something after eating a fry. In the future, I will remember to order the sweet potato fries plain.

I originally ordered the pot roast; was wanting a home cooked tasting meal. was disappointed; too much gravy and the gravy didn't taste from scratch. One of the managers Tori came right over and asked about my meal and what was wrong. she fixed it with another meal ......the Cajun duo. was fabulous and suggested buttercake. I was pleased with Tori and will be back.

Everything was great! Service and food were excellent. We went on a Monday night. There was no wait and the Chicken fried steak is on sale that day. I had the strawberry pecan chicken salad that was superb. We had cheese fries and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We had a group and everyone was happy with their food.
