We had late breakfast there this morning . the staff was very friendly and quick. The food was very good and good portions. Thier prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place .

Thank you to our amazing Waitress who gave amazing service, our food was hot and delicious. My family and I loved it here for our first time. We will be back soon.

Since we were flooded eating out has been the dreaded norm but we prefer making our own breakfasts, especially. We have enjoyed our breakfasts on several different visits. The Florentine Eggs Benedict is my favorite right now but I haven't tried the whole menu. I am sorry for all those who have had bad experiences. Considering the number of visits and how good the food and service has been, we will keep eating at our favorite place!

Personally my job takes me all over the country. I feel like I know good food and service. I would NEVER order a stake from this place for a good stake I cook it at home or go to a steak house! But I feel very strongly here about their breakfast menu and lunch/ dinner menu. All that I have had as been great! The service too has really gotten better with no complaints here. I would like to see improvement on the air conditioning with a full room can get a little warm but it was still comfortable for this fat guy. I hope they are here to stay.

It is a nice place to go to and have breakfast with a friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent with a home style taste and even the restaurant has a home style feel. It is right of the Splendora exit on 59 north right off of 59 business. I would definitely recommend stopping by and having a bite to eat to all my friends and family.

I had the butcher's omelette and a side of French toast. The potatoes that came with the omelette were friggen amazing! The omelette was delicious. Sandra was our waitress and she was so nice, I thought she did a great job. We'll definitely be back. :)

Folks,

I seldom give reviews but this place ROCKS!

I have had several of their breakfasts on the many occasions I have visited and they cannot be beat. The quality and the prices are spot on.

I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Excellent! The food and service was great are there yesterday for the first time and went back again today for breakfast! Prices are great! I'm guessing that any negative review must have been due to it being new but they have worked it out! :)

Country Scrambled Cafe is a wonderful addition to the Splendora community! They have great food at AWESOME prices and the staff is absolutely amazing! The wait is a little bit long at some times during the day but it's to be expected for a place in high demand AND since they are new and still getting into the swing of things! They offer a full menu ALL day long and their sweet tea is amazing! I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend it 100%!!

The food was wonderful, the waitresses were very nice, but we did have to wait an hour to get our breakfast. Food was coming out one table at a time. Seating was full inside and out, but folks were getting antsy waiting so long for food; even the to go orders.

The food portions are huge for the cheap price. The food is very good, nothing on the menu that I don't like. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a small restaurant and the service is kinda slow because the place is always packed.

Love the good food and the prices. Wait staff is great. Would be five stars if you opened a drive thru, I would order To go more often.

Just picked up an order to go. It was ready in about 20 min. Our mushroom swiss burgers were good, and my 4 and 7 yr old loved their food. That says alot right there! The people were also friendly. All in all, I think they're doing great and all these people leaving negative reviews need to have some grace. All new restaurants have snags when they first open, and then throw in the fact that this is a new restaurant in a small town....i think some snags were to be expected. We thought it was good and will be back

The service was not great at all. Sat for a good 20 min before we had to ask if we even had a waitress. After finally getting our drinks we ordered the food. It took over 30 min to come out and they weren't busy at all. The order was wrong on mine. ( probably not servers fault)

The food was good, the prices are cheap. But for a brand new place they should train the staff to do more then stand around staring at you.

The food was good but it took a while to be served to us. There were a lot of flys inside which made it hard to enjoy our meals. The waitress was very nice but took a while to check on us and even bring us our ticket. And one of our orders had the wrong eggs. I think the kinks need to be worked out and find a better flow. But everything was very fair priced which is always a plus.

Our food took forever to get served to us. By no fault of the waitress. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a salad. My salad was a tiny little plate that only consisted of room temperature lettuce, shredded cheese and croutons, that's it. No tomatoes or cucumbers or any other vegetables for that matter. Fried chicken was so dark and dry and so over cooked. My mashed potatoes looked more like potato salad. So many huge lumps that I literally had to mash them with my fork because they were so big. Now...... I know that homemade mashed potatoes are bound to have lumps but this was ridiculous. On the good side my husband liked his food. He ordered the wings by the way.

I do have to mention that our waitress was awesome! She was very attentive and very nice! Will not be back.

Ok, So, I have to chime in on the New Café ( where Coals used to be) Last week we ordered take-out, I ordered the International Club, he ordered an Omelet and the French Toast combo. I went to pick it up and mine was awesome, FULL of meat ( bacon and turkey) his was literally 1 box had an omelet, and another box 2 slices of French toast, NO sides what so ever. So, I called, talked to the owner/manager, she said she was sorry and that she would make note for a correction to pick up the next time we ordered.

So, here we are, I go again today, First off, there was a girl sitting talking with someone, did not even say Hi I will be right with you, BUT did finally come over after about 5 minutes and ask" Has anybody helped you? ( she saw me sit down and looked my direction a few times before getting up) So, I finally order the International Club again with extra bacon ( last weeks had so much more without ordering extra) and it only had 2 pieces today, at the time of ordering I also requested that the make-up order be made close to my finishing to take it with. After sitting a while I hear one of the other girls come out to where they were all sitting asking " did you have a to-go order?, it's ready" she said she did and to just set it aside ( mind you this was almost 5 minutes before my dine in order was even brought out, so it sat under a heat lamp, I hope at least, for the duration of my time there approx. 20-30 more minutes)

I am eating my club that had been cut into customary triangles, got one down, ate some fries started on the second...I bit straight into a piece of toothpick....I have a picture showing that EXTRA piece I bit into along with the 2 I pulled out of the 2 portions I ate or was in process of eating NEXT to my remaining 2 pieces that shows the picks clearly sticking out both ends....SO my question is where did it come from, and if it had come from a pick you put in and broke, why did you not look for the OBVIOUS missing piece when you took it out??????

I am sorry, I am all for supporting local businesses, but have also worked in the food industry for more than 20 years, that had potential for too many bad outcomes. So, I can honestly say that between the inexperienced or lack of proper customer service, finding foreign objects in my food and not being consistent on portions, especially when extra is ordered....I wont be back :(

Only giving one star because it won't let you give a big fat zero stars. This place really needs to get it together if they expect to be in business very long. Takes forever to get noticed. You eventually have to seat yourself, get your own menu and hope like hell that one of the waitresses will finally come and take your order. Once order is placed expect it to take another hour to receive your mediocre food at best. Worst part is that the owners were there the whole time and never offered a hand to help or even speak to the patrons who were sitting and waiting over an hour for their food. I won't ever go back. I'll take my business where it is at least appreciated.

Let me tell you about this place.... they are crooks....when this place first opened I was all about a small business opening in our town. I went out of my way to support them and fight off people hating on this restraunt... today I went and made and order for carry out.... they forgot the sour creme on my wife's food.... so I kindly walked in and said you forgot the sour creme.... then the waitress drops my wife's food on the floor..and tells me her new order will take 1 minute to cook...what are you doing reheating the dropped food I thought.. meanwhile my food was getting cold in the car... so I asked will you remake my food so it's hot as well.. waitress told me no.... so I told her I would like a refund so I can be on my way..... she gave me half my money back... and I left with no food.... now they won't answer my calls or put me thru to a manager.... this place is disgusting and crooked.... I highly recommend never eating there or trusting this establishment to cook your food... they might be recooking someone else's food and giving it to u...m beware of these scam artists
