So, I ventured into Distant Lands Coffee Roaster in 11754 State Highway 64 West, Tyler, TX 75704, and their cortado was the bomb dot com. It had that perfect balance of espresso and warm, frothy milk. The café had this industrial chic thing going on with exposed brick walls and hanging Edison bulbs. Loved the vibe.
