Wonderful place and wonderful owners! These guys really care about the quality and presentation of their food and beverages. My girlfriend and I had the latte and brownie crepe - both were delicious - definitely coming back.

Well they won me with the coffee and service and kind faces. I had to lear at the crepes and waffles of patrons as I was popping in just for a quick shot of coffee. I asked a lady at my elbow if hers was good - "Mmmmm" she said, not willing to waste an open mouth moment to respond. Snuggled in a little strip center as Houston offerings often are, this Cafe may have to surmount location to make a go. But this is not right because it is perfectly located for lunches and grabs from the school across the street, not to mention masses of neighborhoods. But Houstonians know how you can drive right by a gem and not notice till the "Closed" sign is up and you think, "Shoot, I was gonna try that!" Don't wait. The West Side Memorial area needs all the yummy gems it can get.

This place just keeps getting better and better! Now with savory crepes, breakfast food and sandwiches! They also have smoothies and iced drinks! Amazing service and very attentive staff. Try it out!

This place has been a gem since it opened with delicious food and excellent service. Even better now with savory crepes and smoothies. We continue to frequent even though we moved to a different part of town.

Such great service and the crepes and waffles were amazing!! So sweet to my 3 year old! The smores crepe was amazing!!!! Going back soon!!! Go try it you won't be disappointed!

So in love with this place, the food is amazing!! The staff is 10times better than other places i went to! I dont get mad easily but when i do chocolate is my only go to.. Been here four times already and i will be going back for sure!!

I stopped by today for some crepes and I'm glad we found such an awesome place. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Best customer service I have had in awhile. Most importantly the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.

I recently moved down to Houston and feel so lucky to find this hidden gem nearby where I live. This is my first time visiting Doux Cafe and I was glad that they're open for 4th of July. I felt in love with this little cafe when I first stepped in - the ambiance and the music are so cozy and relaxing. I was greeted by Abe and El and these two young men are so friendly, making me feel like home. I ordered Doux latte and egg sausage crepe. Latte was bright and rich, and the crepe? One of the best I've ever had! The crepe was perfectly made and the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. I finished the crepe and coffee in no time, and ready to get some work done - btw, the wifi signal is very strong.



Here comes the best part - I switched to the comfy sofa from the table and ready to work when I was served by Abe - with a special 4th of July crepe on the house!!! Wow, what a pleasant surprise! The crepe is stunningly beautiful, AND delicious! Almost like a craft! I love condensed milk and it goes perfectly with strawberries. A family in the cafe were also given the surprise and they're thrilled as well. I have a small stomach and usually couldn't even finish one crepe. But finishing two crepes all at once proved how delicious they were!!



I'm just so grateful for this wonderful cafe and staff for making my day. Will definitely come back. Will also recommend to friends and bring them over here as well. Merci beaucoup!

I love this place! The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Try the Brownie Crepe! It was beyond delicious.

I have to really love something to leave a comment and let me just say, I love the coffee (dark chocolate mocha's) at this place!! I'm not a crepe person but their egg and cheese bagels are enough of an alternative option for me. I went looking for better quality coffee when I was reminded on a vacation trip that I was settling for crap coffee from that one big chain.

I got the "doux cafe waffle" it came with three types of chocolate and strawberries. Really decadent and rich would definitely encourage others to try!

I arrived at 930 am today & despite stated hours online as open at 9AM, it was closed. No clue what the food will be like when I go there as who knows when it's actually open. So far, very disappointed.



UPDATE: I arrived today (3/8) & was greeted by a very friendly gentleman in a Lacoste shirt. He explained the menu offerings to me & then I ordered a nutella & strawberry crepe but he recommended Belgian chocolate instead & said to leave the chocolate up to him. Well, it was almost too beautiful to eat! But I ate it anyway & it was amazing! The crepe was perfectly thin & the chocolate was amazing (I was scraping it off my plate...). The strawberries were crisp & fresh. The latte was fresh & perfectly brewed to get great coffee flavor & no bitterness. The pride & workmanship in the food was obvious & impressive. Very welcoming. I can easily become a regular here.
