The place was rather crowded for a Sunday morning 1030am. But Rachel Ray always says go to the place with the crowd. We waited perhaps 2 min for a table for 6. Coffee was good. I love the mugs. I ordered the breakfast hash and a biscuit. It was excellent. Others in the party ordered breakfast taco's, chicken and waffles, eggs and bacon... all were great. We will return when in the area.
Had a really great time on Friday night. Bob Wills did a great job of picking the gospel band. Food is excellent and prices are very reasonable considering you also have entertainment. I was a little worried at first since my chair was the closest one to the band, but they played at a very reasonable volume. I wish more bands were that considerate, louder is not always better.
The waitress was irritated it seemed bcuz we didn't order as soon as we sat down. My hash browns were burned to a crisp. But the sausage and eggs were good. My mother-in-law's french toast was very good she says. The only had half of the available seating open until after we got our food then they opened up the rest. Our waitress was also sitting right behind us complaining about many things to another customer.
First time there & wasn’t impressed. I understand it was Father’s Day but they were disorganized.
We put our name on the “list”. Watched as they called out names in the restaurant area as well as the vestibule but they never went outside. Hubby went to see where our name was on the list & they crossed it off stating they called it & no one answered. Not even, we were standing 5 feet away from the desk.
Food was okay. Service was slow.
We’ll try them again before we totally write them off. Too many other breakfast places in the area that we can try.
If you're a fan of latte art, Dove Creek Cafe is the place to be. Their baristas at the 204 S Highway 377, Roanoke, Texas 76262 location are true artists, and I was mesmerized by the designs they created on my cappuccino. A must-visit for art and coffee enthusiasts.

The cortado I ordered was a symphony of flavors, and I could taste the expertise that went into crafting it. The café's minimalist décor and soft jazz music set the perfect mood for relaxation. I had high hopes for Dove Creek Cafe, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The coffee was decent, but the pastries were underwhelming. I won't be recommending it.
Unfortunately, my experience at Dove Creek Cafe was far from satisfying. The coffee had a bitter aftertaste, and the pastries tasted stale at the 204 S Highway 377, Roanoke, Texas 76262 location. I'd recommend exploring other options.
I stopped by Dove Creek Cafe on my way to work, and it was a pleasant surprise. Tucked away in 204 S Highway 377, Roanoke, Texas 76262, it's a cozy spot to grab your caffeine fix. Tried their cappuccino, and it was on point. The latte art was a nice touch. The café has a simple and laid-back feel, perfect for a quick coffee stop. Will definitely swing by again.
I don't understand the hype around Dove Creek Cafe. The coffee tasted burnt, and the prices were outrageous. I won't be back.
