The place was rather crowded for a Sunday morning 1030am. But Rachel Ray always says go to the place with the crowd. We waited perhaps 2 min for a table for 6. Coffee was good. I love the mugs. I ordered the breakfast hash and a biscuit. It was excellent. Others in the party ordered breakfast taco's, chicken and waffles, eggs and bacon... all were great. We will return when in the area.
Had a really great time on Friday night. Bob Wills did a great job of picking the gospel band. Food is excellent and prices are very reasonable considering you also have entertainment. I was a little worried at first since my chair was the closest one to the band, but they played at a very reasonable volume. I wish more bands were that considerate, louder is not always better.
The waitress was irritated it seemed bcuz we didn't order as soon as we sat down. My hash browns were burned to a crisp. But the sausage and eggs were good. My mother-in-law's french toast was very good she says. The only had half of the available seating open until after we got our food then they opened up the rest. Our waitress was also sitting right behind us complaining about many things to another customer.
First time there & wasn’t impressed. I understand it was Father’s Day but they were disorganized.
We put our name on the “list”. Watched as they called out names in the restaurant area as well as the vestibule but they never went outside. Hubby went to see where our name was on the list & they crossed it off stating they called it & no one answered. Not even, we were standing 5 feet away from the desk.
Food was okay. Service was slow.
We’ll try them again before we totally write them off. Too many other breakfast places in the area that we can try.

I dropped by Dove Creek Cafe in 204 S Highway 377, Roanoke, Texas 76262 and had their iced coffee. It was like a refreshing slap in the face – in a good way! The staff was friendly, and the place had a chill, indie vibe. It's a cool spot to caffeinate and people-watch.
Dove Creek Cafe at 204 S Highway 377, Roanoke, Texas 76262 is a coffee shop deserving of praise. The espresso I sampled was bold and energizing, providing the perfect pick-me-up. The café's cozy interior and friendly baristas make it a welcoming place to enjoy a cup of joe. It's a spot where you can take your time and savor the moment. I'll definitely be returning.
Dove Creek Cafe is my haven in the city. The macchiato is a burst of energy, and the vintage décor adds a touch of nostalgia to the experience.
The atmosphere at Dove Creek Cafe is top-notch. The rustic decor and the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans create a welcoming vibe. Their cappuccino was a work of art, and I couldn't resist snapping a photo before indulging.
Dove Creek Cafe was a disappointment. The latte was lukewarm, and the pastries were stale. I won't be returning anytime soon, and I hope they work on improving their offerings.
