Super nice atmosphere and extremely courteous and helpful staff. My only complaint was sandwiches are a bit pricey for what you get. None of our sandwiches had much meat on them. The soups were delicious and unique. Overall, a nice place for lunch.

Inspired sandwiches, thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients. Casual environment with plenty of comfortable seating options. This is probably my favorite central Austin sandwich shop

Foodheads has been, hands down, my favorite 'fancy' sandwich shop in Austin since it opened. I've been coming here for years, and it's always consistently delicious, not to mention their homemade potato salad is the best tasting potato salad in the entire world. The people there are always nice, and the patio is great for sitting outside. Go now!

Unique, local sandwich shop. Somewhat limited indoor and shaded outdoor seating during peak lunch hours. Bit expensive, but exceptional quality. Potent iced cold-brew, solid sandwiches. Chips are filler - go with a prepared side or dessert.

This place has great soups and sandwiches. First time here but I think it's one of the best and will become a regular. Four choices of homemade soup! Ordering soup + 1/2 sandwich does limit the sandwich choices but the pozole was very good and the 1/2 hot pastrami sandwich was delicious and more than enough to eat. Nice setting indoor and outdoors. Also like that they have reusable water cups.

Food Heads has one of the coolest lunch atmospheres in Austin. The tuna sandwich is great. I usually make a concoction of half tea and half homemade lemonade.

An excellent place for lunch. Had a delicious sandwich called Gypsy Grove, which had grilled marinated pork, a slice of grilled ham, some slaw and a jalapeno relish and a fried egg. Messy in such a good way :) Sitting out on the porch on a nice day and it's pretty much an idyllic way to spend your lunch.

I was excited to try Foodheads, but it didn't live up to the hype. The coffee was mediocre, and the prices were steep. I won't be returning anytime soon.
