Our Cafe is currently undergoing a facelift. The first since the mid-'80s. Be sure to check out the new floors and the bar area backdrop.
The employee breakroom has also been transformed and redecorated.

This place really is a gem of Temple Tx. Local flavor in a small town. Was busy the whole time we were there and they had a bit of everything.

This place is the best. I lost my first tooth here, had my 13th birthday, prom dinner, college graduation dinner, and 20 years later it’s still my favorite. Beer battered onion rings are the best you’ll ever have. And the kolaches are amazing. Greens is definitely a slice of old Texas charm.

It’s a must to stop in there 3 to 4 times a week to get something to eat. The place is addicting.. such great sausages ,meats ,kolaches, cookies and great food . I got to go get my fix this morning at Greens.

I was traveling home from gatesville back to Houston (actually near Katy). I stopped in and I'm glad I did! CAN NOT WAIT! To go back. Next time, I will try the restaurant! The store was amazing, wide selection. I got jalapeño stick for the drive home, soooo good. I will never eat another "slim jim" � ..... Also got jalapeño and jalapeño and cheese sausage. Also awesome! Got my mom some boudin! She LOVED it! We are use to goin to Brenham for chappel hill, 2 1/2 hour drive may be worth it! Don't ever close and look t bring a store to Houston.....lol.... PLEASE!

I had the chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Nothing left on my plate. My wife had the double meat sausage burger with a side of fries. She loved it!

I go there often and it's always the same friendly staff with delicious food.. the store offers the best of everything. I love the Smoked Pork Sausage.

I consider living 15 miles away from here a blessing in life! � Walking through the door is like walking into my grandma’s house, the smell of fresh baked goods will make your mouth water. We love the market and the cafe. Thanks GSH!!

Had the best BLT ever and Vickie had smothered steak had to have a “to go box”! Fun ambiance, clean, and excellent service, prices more than reasonable, will definitely go back and highly recommend taking a trip to enjoy! The market connected is interesting and has an ample supply of meats to choose from....

Great place for southern home cooking. I eat here all the time. I recommend the burger, catfish, or chicken fried steak. When you walk in, just take a seat. One of the waitresses named Shirley is always on the ball. The store also has lots of goodies.

From the time we walked through the door I knew I would love this place. It was amazing. The food was great! Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Bought some jerky to take with us! If I had one recommendation, please make pinto bean salsa so I don't have to drive all the way to Gruene! Ha

We will be back!

Best Boudin I've ever had and coming from a girl who grew up in SW Louisana that says a lot! Our breakfast was just incredible and we got several things from the market to take home with us. We will be stopping by and stocking up each time we pass through.

I wasn’t impressed with the restaurant and the wait staff, not friendly at all. The meat market is great! The ladies behind the counter and very friendly and helpful.
