played at the open mic night (Thursdays at 7 pm) my first week in Austin. the only people present were Devon, Matthew, and 1 other dude. they were outside in 30 degree weather with me. this community has dedication. haven't tried the menu, but if it's anything like the service (i'm sure it is) then it's nothing short of radtastic.

This place is amazing...small and quaint, very Austin-y with just the right mix of perfect coffee and all different kinds of people. Comfortable seating, a place to work away from work or sit around with some friends and have a beer! If indoors isn't your thing, there's a great little outdoor seating area with chair hammocks (not sure what they are called--the kind you sit in versus lie down in). The staff are warm and friendly (and funny too) and make me feel like they are happy I came in. Easy in and out parking too. Update 9/11/18--They have a great new warm turmeric drink! Yummy!

The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere somehow vibrant and relaxing, and the coffee was excellent.



I'll be sure to make this a designated stop the next time I'm in Austin. ☕☕☕

Super chill vibe at this coffee shop! I’m a total introvert but I always find the most interesting people to chat with at the bar here. The back corner is my favorite quiet spot. Love hanging out here, they have great live music on the patio with a bar outside in the summer. The cushioned seating and the hammocks are great. I really enjoyed a canned rosé the bartender suggested this weekend. It’s great if you’ve got your kids in tow too- mine love the hot chocolate at Irie Bean and always pick out a locally made baked goodie. Heads up to vegan/gf people, they’ve got delicious options. It goes without saying that the coffee drinks are excellent. My friend ordered a turmeric drink special that I definitely need to try next time because it smelled heavenly. They also have great local art available for enjoyment and to take home.

Love this place the people are friendly the prices are great

No Starbucks sticker shock here. Kinda small inside but a nice patio area w hammocks and tables.

Nice atmosphere too keepin up the austin weird vibe

I absolutely LOVE this place! The atmosphere is so laid back, and the Vibes are Irie. My favorite time to go is Reggae Sundays, ESPECIALLY when Lion Heights does their acoustic set. Something about those guys makes you feel like your on da island, sipping da rum punch with no care in da world mon. Please, please, please....MORE Lion Heights!

Great south Austin vibe in this laid back coffee shop. Super friendly staff... literally seems to be where everybody knows your name! Great coffee at good prices... outdoor delightful back patio.
